2023-02-24 10:10:07 +0000 UTCI agree with both Neville and Carl, this info is important and very useful info to be prepared for the fast paced and excitement filled Part 2 film (Deathly Hallows Part 2). Again if you don't read this it is truly ok, but if you do read this make sure you pay close attention to what Neville L wrote above. Because I promise you if you fully understand what Neville L stated you will enjoy and appreciate the story/lore of the last unforgettable Harry Potter film! I love you guy's, hope all is well with your youtube/patreon endeavors and your at home life and happiness. You deserve it for bringing a smile to all of our lives. I hope you love and appreciate the beautiful story of overcoming hardship and the beauty of friendship that is the world of Harry Potter.

2023-02-24 10:08:21 +0000 UTCGlad that Spinal Tap is on Amazon Prime! I am also watching Better Call Saul right now, re-watching it again before watching the final season. It's excellent the second time around.

2023-02-23 17:58:03 +0000 UTCSpinal Tap is on Prime Video. My band The Fred Mertz Experience toyed with the idea of getting a third bass to play Big Bottom 👀 🤣 but we didn't have the $$ 🤷♂️ Have you seen McKean in Better Call Saul? 🤘😎🎸

2023-02-23 15:42:32 +0000 UTCFirefly is a really fun show, I think they would like it. Though, I don't see them doing a tv show in place of a movie, and I'm not sure they have the time to add a third day (like a tv Wednesday) where they can start watching shows. Once channel I watch does two episode for each week on one day, so it's like another movie in length, but they slowly churn through some tv. I'm totally up for Spinal Tap. Not sure they can find it streaming though, they may have to find the DVD. My sister was a hardcore rocker, and when we watched this, she laughed harder that I'd ever heard her laugh ever. Gimmie Some Money is one of my favorite songs, it's so absurdly funny, but also actually good music. Christopher guest is a genius. I also read some place that the music was done by both Guest and Michael McKean, also another brilliant actor, with some real musical talent. Can't find a better quality video, but the song still mostly sounds good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-BYzaDwNoE

2023-02-23 15:07:25 +0000 UTCThe deleted scenes for Deathly Hallows would've clarified so much, and also offer some closure with the Durlseys. I wonder if the people working on the movies were just ready to be done. This is what happened with Game of Thrones and why the final season was such a massive disaster (IMO). There were a lot of oversights in each of the books, some understandable, but one in particularly that actually kind pissed me off. It just seemed personally important for a specific character, but completely dismissed by the movie makers. I'll mention it after they release the reaction, though I suspect that someone else will get to it first.

2023-02-23 14:52:07 +0000 UTCI have to say, I took Dobby’s death as bad as I took Dumbledor’s. In the books, we meet Dobby more than in the movie. When I read the books, I wanted to be mad at Lina’s dad, but the reason the death eaters took Luna is because he was openly supporting Dumbledore and Harry in his publication, The Quibbler. As Harry mentioned, he was desperate to get Luna back. I just couldn’t blame him for that. Once you see the last movie, the next thing I would suggest is that you watch the deleted scenes. I think you will find them fascinating.

2023-02-23 10:03:32 +0000 UTCLove your reaction and the new window is how every creator should do watch-along videos. Much easier to re-synch if you have a visual reference. I hope you read the long comment from Neville L, above. I have something else to address here since you haven't answered my message. Maybe you don't answer DMs and that's okay. By now, I am sure you have had anywhere from several to a multitude of suggestions for both of these movies, since they cross over to your music reaction channel... DETROIT ROCK CITY about four high school kids trying to get to a KISS concert in 1977. THIS IS SPINAL TAP about a fictional aging British hard rock group touring the USA. These two should be high on your list by now. Another I would suggest is almost all music but since it's already music you love... It could almost go to either channel! PINK FLOYD AT POMPEII And a final thought, hopefully for the near future. So far you have only done movies on this channel and if that's all you want to do that's fine. I understand that reacting to TV series might take more time than you want to give at present but I have in mind a show that was only one season (14 episodes) followed by one movie. This is FIREFLY, starring... (skip this paragraph if you want!) Nathan Fillion (Castle, The Rookie, and he was the 'wrong Ryan' in Saving Private Ryan).... Alan Tudyk (42, Rogue One, Dodgeball, A Knight's Tale and lots of other movies; also now starring in Resident Alien).... Gina Torres (The Matrix Reloaded and Revolutions, One Life to Live -in the 90s, Hercules, La Femme Nikita, Angel, 24, Standoff, now starring in 9-1-1: Lone Star).... Adam Baldwin (Full Metal Jacket, Independence Day, more!).... Jewel Staite (Stargate Atlantis, lots of small to medium movie and TV roles).... Morena Baccarin [bak-KAR-in] (main roles in V, Homeland s1-3, Home Invasion).... Sean Maher (Party of Five, The $treet, episodes of 9-1-1 and The Rookie).... Summer Glau (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, episodes of Angel, Castle and Big Bang theory and more).... and R.I.P. Ron Glass (Barney Miller way back in the 70s! and lots of other 70s TV, 2 eps of Friends, and lots LOTS more!). FIREFLY (2002) is followed by the movie SERENITY (2005). I am quite sure you will find this show to your liking. Most people go in wondering "A space-western? What does THAT mean!?" lol. Trust me, you will come to love all nine main characters and the show is just wholesome fun with action, comedy, drama, really a bit of everything you could want! I hope you consider it. Thanks for reading me and... Thanks for ALL of your reactions!

2023-02-22 20:18:06 +0000 UTCThe blurred is really helpful, rather than a timer. My streaming service occasionally times out and I have to resync. Way easier with a blurred version. Thank you.

2023-02-21 01:11:40 +0000 UTCI just gotta say yall are really fun to watch a dang movie with lol. Like I'm iffy about movie reactors just like I don't always like watching things (even if I've seen if a million times) with just anybody, yall talk at the right time & for reaction purposes yall aren't overly quiet either, & yall ask questions & acknowledge when they're answered whilst also not asking too many questions. I've said before, yall feel like watching movies with good friends, or my siblings or cousins where we all have that mixture too. Funny story, I was trying to get movie reactions going myself last year, it didn't work cause I didn't talk at all lol cause of I'm watching a movie I'm silent & really who wants to see that lol. But you 2 have each other to bounce off of & yall just really are pros at being in front of the camera together, so yall continue to inspire me!

2023-02-20 09:15:09 +0000 UTCGreat Reaction! You are in for quite a ride with the final film. Keep in mind that this movie serves as the first half of the final book, so it's a little on the slower side. Part 2 is an absolute thrill all the way through! Here's a huge block of text that I would totally understand if you dont read, but there's some good stuff in here that the movies either explain poorly or not at all. (No spoilers!) So, A few pieces of key info/fun facts: The older teacher you mentioned seeing at the wedding is Remus Lupin, a very important character; he was the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher in Prisoner of Azkaban (year 3) who taught Harry to produce a patronus charm; also a werewolf, and a member of the original/current order of the phoenix, and one of Harry's dad's best friends, along with sirius and Wormtail (formerly). He is married to Nymphadora Tonks, who appeared briefly during the "Seven Potters" scene. You might remember her as being the witch who can change her hair color on the spot and make her nose into a bird's beack, etc. also, Lupin did not disapparate them from the wedding-Hogwarts students learn to disapparate in their 6th year, so Harry Ron and Hermione can already do that. Hermione's wiping of her parents memory serves two purposes: one you correctly guessed, which is that she did it to protect them in case the death eaters came looking. The second reason is because she knows it is very possible that she might not survive the hunt for the Horcruxes, and wishes to spare them the heartbreak of losing their daughter.... The wobbly eye in Umbridge's office door is none other than the eye of Mad Eye Moody-awful! Umbridge is for many reasons drawn to the power and appeal of the Locket Horcrux, not the least of which is her very obvious capacity for evil and cruelty. The mirror they keep showing harry look into was gifted to him by Sirius before his death (this was not mentioned in the films for some reason, they must have forgot). It was supposed to be for Harry to communicate with Sirius, but Harry forgot all about it until after Sirius was dead :( he now looks to it for comfort, and does not himself even know who he keeps seeing in it. Harry and Hermione's dance is a great scene. A completely platonic moment in which Harry is trying to cheer her up. Harry, being unaware of his wizard status until he was 11, and Hermione, being muggleborn and also unaware of her magic until 11, both grew up in the muggle world. When a muggle song comes on the radio, it serves as a great chance for them to escape all of the magic for a moment. The woman who tuned out to be Nagini (Voldemorts snake) was not the woman from the wedding (that was Ron's aunt Muriel.) Muriel did however mention Bathilda Bagshot, author of the History of Magic textbook that is used at Hogwarts-a textbook that Harry and Ron awlways found to be very boring, and paid little attention to it. That's who the old lady actually was, Bathilda. (emphasis on was, considering she was killed and replaced by Nagini in anticipation of Harry travelling to the town he was born in). She did indeed wait until they were away from Hermione to begin speaking Parsletongue; Harry doesn;t realize when he's doing it, but Hermione would have noticed. That baby's room was not the room that Harry's parents died in-they were in Bathilda's house, not the Potters'. The Potter house is the ruin that Harry pointed out. Still to this day I don't know what that baby room was supposed to be, all I can think is that they busted into an adjoining house or something? I dont remember that being in the book, but could be wrong. The Ministry, under Voldemorts control, placed a Taboo (like a magical gps tracker) on the word "Voldemort," because only people who were serious about opposing him ever dared to use it. That's why every time Harry or Hermione said it, bad guys showed up. Same thing with Lunas dad when he said it. Harry did try to Accio summon the sword; didn't work, of course, lol The wolf-looking guy you recognized is SORT OF a death eater. You saw him on the tower when Dumbledore was killed. That's Fenrir Greyback, the very same werewolf who bit Professor Lupin when he was a child and passed on his lycanthropy (something Greyback, horribly, LOVES to do.) In the 6th book, but not in the film, he also attacks Bill Weasley, Ron's oldest brother. In the films, Bill is introduced for the first time at the beginning of this one, gesturing to the scars on his face, souveniers from Greyback. Also, the blonde girl thats with Bill is Fleur Delacour, the french Baeuxbatons student who competed alongside Harry in the Triwizard tournament! That;s who's wedding we saw at the beginning, Bill and Fluer. Also, although he is associated with Death Eaters and is certainly a bad dude, Greyback is not allowed to be a death eater due to his impure werewolf blood. That Goblin is Griphook, who showed Harry to his vault at Gringotts on his eleventh birthday. He is not a Hogwarts teacher, but coincidentally, he is played by Warwick Davis, who ALSO plays Professor Flitwick, who is indeed a Hogwarts Teacher! The Wording of the Tale of the Deathly Hallows/Three Brother's is extremely important. I've seen many reactors be confused by it, particularly by the function of the Resurrection stone, which does NOT bring people back to life. It creates a brief, ghost like apparition of them that does not belong in the mortal world. As Dumbledore has told Harry many times, no spell can wake the Dead. Finally, Draco totally recognized Harry. Hermione and Ron being there would have been a dead giveaway even if he hadn't. Sorry for the novel length post, but I hope you found it "entertaining and instructive!"

2023-02-20 09:03:04 +0000 UTCSUPER appreciate the inclusion of the blurred video - although I can't say for sure, but you MIGHT need to blur it more in the future. You can still nearly read the words on the paper and identify faces....maybe it's enough, but in case it isn't, I just want you to know that it's okay if you blur it quite a lot more, until the frames are nearly an abstract mess of light and color. In my experience that's still enough to go on to match to your own copy, you can still identify the movement of things and cuts between shots due to drastic changes in lighting and color. I just don't want yall to have copyright issues because it isn't blurred enough, but I don't know where they draw the line. Another solution is covering up the video except the edge, that's still enough to tell what's going on and sync things up, while eliminating most of what would be identified by content ID. But again, super appreciate the effort!

2023-02-20 07:21:35 +0000 UTCSeems okay for me. I don’t have the time to watch it all now but I was able to start it and skimmed ahead a bit with no apparent audio or visual issues. Maybe it just needed a little time as I am trying about 2 hours after your comment.
