You'll notice the theme that their kids are played by different actors in every movie. There's a few British comedian cameo's throughout, including Robbie Coltrane, who played Hagrid! Most of it was actually shot in Europe.

They have it so you can sync it up at first and follow along for a minute and then it goes away to simply just watch their reaction as you're watching the movie.
