2023-04-04 14:37:49 +0000 UTCI would not do PULP FICTION VERY CONTROVERSIAL SEXUAL CONTENT (RAPE) DRUGS I really don't think you will like it. Just by the reactions you've done so far.
Lisa Rhodes
2023-03-30 00:18:34 +0000 UTCOf course Smokey and the Bandit. Ya think? More light hearted comedies

2023-03-27 01:19:03 +0000 UTCI love Harvey, it's such a funny, quirky movie.

2023-03-26 03:40:54 +0000 UTCI vote for fantastic beasts and where to find them the prequel movie series to Harry Potter

2023-03-25 04:40:04 +0000 UTCGattaca and Arrival are brilliant choices. I think J&A would enjoy these also. Gattaca especially.

2023-03-24 20:02:20 +0000 UTCI say appease the football fans who didn't get Rudy, but still scratch that Burt Reynolds itch, and go for The Longest Yard instead. 😁
Robert Greffey
2023-03-24 19:47:34 +0000 UTCGattaca or Arrival are my top non-pew-pew sci-fi choices for the channel, but The Martian or Interstellar also rank high on my list of "sci-fi for adults". So would hardly complain if they showed up too. Then there's Blade Runner, which has an appropriate amount of action for a detective story, but much less of it than most folks tend to expect going in for the first time. But some solid sci-fi by my reckoning. And more Rutger Hauer to go with your Ladyhawk. I've never gotten much out of either Psycho or The Birds, to be honest. Not bad movies, just nowhere near as brilliant as many others by him. For me, the Hitchcock trifecta is Vertigo, Rear Window, and North by Northwest. I'd sanction any of those three showing up on that "Masterpiece Theater" poll I've pitched.

2023-03-24 01:32:29 +0000 UTC“Smokey and the Bandit” is such a fun movie. Most of it takes place in cars. I’ve loved it since childhood. Had a huge crush on Sally Field, too. And Burt Reynolds was the man.
Jeff Mills
2023-03-24 01:29:59 +0000 UTCGreat choices. I'm especially on board for Rear Window. Along with The Birds and Psycho, it's on my trifecta Hitchcock list, and for a deeper dive into Hitchcock, Rebecca and Frenzy.
BRT
2023-03-24 01:06:50 +0000 UTCI had to vote for The Dude.
Kimberly Jenkins
2023-03-24 00:54:24 +0000 UTCLove Smokey and the Bandit!! So funny!! Such an iconic movie! I would also recommend the Hungry Games series. It's 4 movies to tell the full story. The books and the movies were all huge hits.
Jayce
2023-03-23 23:37:27 +0000 UTCFor future polls, please consider: Ladyhawke (fantasy drama) Rear Window (alfred hitchcock classic) Harvey (B&W classic) Deep Impact (doomsday sci-fi) The Martian (sciency sci-fi, not pew-pew)
Kristin D
2023-03-23 23:26:32 +0000 UTCYes Psycho or The Birds from Hitchcock. Classic movies scenes used in several movie's since.
Lisa Rhodes
2023-03-23 20:16:06 +0000 UTCMmmmm. Neon-noir sci fi detective story. It must happen. Keep hoping if nothing else, the Ridley Scott name might draw them to it if they ever did Gladiator or Alien.
Robert Greffey
2023-03-23 19:28:15 +0000 UTCWhile I don't disagree with Smokey and The Bandit being the top I still voted for The Big Lebowski. It's one of those movies that should be seen. These polls are vey difficult when there are multiple genres. All good movies in their own right, but difficult to choose one washout regretting not choosing the others. Still waiting on and Alfred Hitchcock film to be in some of these polls

2023-03-23 17:07:12 +0000 UTCGot to check out "Radio" with Cuba Gooding Jr. And Ed Harris. Based on a true story. Have tissue handy.
Ron Galiazzo
2023-03-23 16:21:41 +0000 UTCBrian's Song , also stars Billy Dee Williams, 'Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back & Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, as Gale Sayers.
Douglas Custard
2023-03-23 15:34:54 +0000 UTCDefinitely watch "Brian's Song" and bring the kleenex. It also is based on a true story.
Carolyn Phelan
2023-03-23 15:33:50 +0000 UTCI seconds this. Yes, you are old enough but so much is Shock value and on the edge of humanity that makes it a very dicey choice. You don't come away from tuner it with a middle of the road opinion. You love it or hate it. That is the same with just about any Tarantino film. I am not a prude and have seen plenty of R rated films. This is a rough one. I don't think you should only see movies about unicorns but this might be one to watch on your own rather than while the world's is watching you react.
Carolyn Phelan
2023-03-23 15:32:49 +0000 UTCPulp Fiction all the way for this one, only the Big Labowski is even in the same ballpark on this list.
steve devoll
2023-03-23 15:30:45 +0000 UTCIf your going to do a football movie you need to watch Brian's Song starring James Caan. Sonny in 'The Godfather'. The movie is about Brian Piccolo who died from cancer at the age of 26. The movie chronicles Brian's fight with cancer and his friendship with Gale Sayers. Just thinking about Brian's Song making my eyes water.
Douglas Custard
2023-03-23 15:15:38 +0000 UTCSo keen for more Star Wars!

2023-03-23 15:13:06 +0000 UTCIf “Smokey and the bandit” wins, the next film should be “the Best Little Whorehouse in Texas” 😂😂
Mike
2023-03-23 15:11:25 +0000 UTCI love all of the suggestions! I went with Pulp Fiction. Great movie, great performances. Bruce Willis's storyline is one of my favorites🤣🤣!
Troy
2023-03-23 10:24:09 +0000 UTCI don't know the game right off hand but the rest are good with braveheart being a must watch. The Crow would be another good pick after Bruce Lee Marathon.

2023-03-23 09:44:06 +0000 UTCI don't know if the program is better but Jordan already saw Rudy. I think he'll really like the program though.
Josdamos
2023-03-23 09:41:19 +0000 UTCPulp Fiction is a very unique and well made film, even though it is ROUGH and there is a lot of provocative material. However there is one graphic scene in particular that I think is just too much for your channel. You're both adults though and if you want to go for it I will be watching with you. My personal choice for a Tarantino film would be Deathproof, but it doesn't seem to rate as high on many other people's lists .
BRT
2023-03-23 09:16:41 +0000 UTCI definitely agree with Psycho and The Birds
BRT
2023-03-23 09:10:21 +0000 UTCLady I will board that train with you!
BRT
2023-03-23 09:06:32 +0000 UTCIf I remember correctly from a previous reaction, Jordan said he saw Rudy once when he was younger and he didn’t remember it. That counts as a first time (second) watch lol. It’ll be like a new movie if you don’t remember it. I also think Amber would enjoy it. It stars Sean Astin who plays Sam in LOTR. But it seems like it’s between Smokey and Pulp Fiction, so I choose Pulp Fiction. Would this be your first introduction to Quentin Tarantino? Great director. The Big Lebowski is coming in last but don’t cast it aside for that reason. It’s a Coen Brothers film (which I feel is a sub genre of its own) so definitely has a certain style to it, and not everyone gravitates towards that, I personally do. If you want to dip your toes into the Coen Brothers pool, start with Fargo.

2023-03-23 05:41:38 +0000 UTCId say after Star Wars, yall absolutely should do a Tarantino run: Pulp Fiction, thenKill Bill Vol 1 and Kill Bill Vol 2 and finally Inglorious Basterds. Pulp is a classic, but definitely the most unique of the bunch. I think you will like it but even if you don't, you will love those other movies.

2023-03-23 05:23:18 +0000 UTCI want them to watch Interstellar too!
Patty Estrada
2023-03-23 05:21:38 +0000 UTCYes to Rudy. I believe Jordan said in another reaction that he saw it when he was younger and didn’t really remember it, so that to me counts as a first time (second watch) watch. And I think Amber would also really like it.
Patty Estrada
2023-03-23 05:18:43 +0000 UTCI second Inglorious Basterds, and add Django as another Tarantino option.
Patty Estrada
2023-03-23 05:15:41 +0000 UTCI totally agree... A great hidden gem of a movie (action, drama, comedy all rolled into one).

2023-03-23 04:07:20 +0000 UTCThe Program better than Rudy.

2023-03-23 04:07:04 +0000 UTCThe Program is far better than Rudy.
Lisa Rhodes
2023-03-23 04:06:38 +0000 UTCPulp Fiction is good, but I much prefer Tarantino's Inglorious Basterds.

2023-03-23 03:09:06 +0000 UTCImma gonna keep on suggesting "Blade Runner" (1982) until it actually happens. ;-)
Angela Warton
2023-03-23 02:30:02 +0000 UTCKinda funny sticking Smokey and the Bandit in the middle of a run of Star Wars. It is the only movie to ever gross more money at the box office than any movie with "Star Wars" in the title on it's opening weekend back in 1977. BTW: I still like the idea of a "Masterpiece Theater" poll. Something like Citizen Kane VS Casablanca VS Rear Window VS The Godfather. Or something like that...

2023-03-23 02:26:31 +0000 UTCThe Big Lebowski is a major classic " The Dude" . Pulp Fiction is a violent controversial movie with sexual nature of rape, drugs, shooting and I am pretty sure you won't like it. Please do some of the classic must see's of every generation. Wizard Of Oz , Psycho( Hitchcock) The Birds (Hitchcock's) scared many into phobias of birds. Steven Kings- Cujio( both on things based on realistic animals like Jaws) Poltergeist must do one and two . Rudy is not a good movie . Sorry Jay . I watched Football movies 20 some years. My son loves football . I would say The Program if your gonna do one.
Lisa Rhodes
2023-03-23 02:16:42 +0000 UTCXanadu... I love that movie... I don't care what a lot of people say. I grew up with a dad obsessed with Olivia Newton John so I enjoy the movie.
Raymond DeGraw
2023-03-23 02:10:12 +0000 UTCI will throw in a suggestion to react to: Mr Holland's Opus: Richard Dreyfus as a high school music teacher from the 60s through the 90s. For Love of the Game: Kevin Costner as an aging baseball star recalling his life, career and relationship throughout the course of a game.

2023-03-23 01:31:22 +0000 UTCI really want to see you watch Pulp Fiction and something with Matthew Mcconaughey, like Interstellar or How to lose a guy in 10 days

2023-03-23 01:30:38 +0000 UTCi'd say Rudy here just to show it to Amber already but Pulp Fiction and Smokey & the Bandit are timeless classics iconic lines, memorable characters so i'd be happy with any of those three TBL is not my kind of movie though Looking forward to the reaction to the pivotal Episode ll of Star Wars!

2023-03-23 01:30:07 +0000 UTCCan't wait for the Star Wars Episode II... Would love to see some other reactions... 1. The Crow 2. Braveheart 3. Falling Down 4. The Game 5. Secondhand Lions
