2023-04-08 22:59:03 +0000 UTCIf you pay close attention to the conversation with the Architect, and the scenes on the monitor you can figure out the real truth of the movies. Even the so called "real world" is just another level of the Matrix. The monitors at one point show scenes from Neo's life, and some of the scenes are stuff that happens in Zion... which is supposedly outside the Matrix, but the Architect still saw them ;) This scene, and the one with Agent smith interrogating Morpheus in the first movie explains the premise. There is no way the AI would allow humans a foothold outside of their control. Everything in the 'Matrix' is green tinted, and everything in the 'Real world' is blue tinted... just a different level. This also explains why Neo's powers affected the machines in the 'Real World'.

There's so much philosophical discussion around every single line of dialogue in some of the scenes in these movies and I love that you both are so into it! ONTO THE THIRD!
