That’s fine. I just don’t buy that Indy would have a romantic interest in that kind of woman. Marion was much more his match.

Stephanie Wahl

She's supposed to be annoying.

Justin Robertson

also a ride at universal. Harry Potter is at universal.

Lisa Rhodes

Schindler’s List is an obvious must watch. Another masterpiece in black & white is Sunset Boulevard. Also Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?

Stephanie Wahl

The Blade Runner films are my favorite Harrison Ford movies. Had such a huge influence on Sci-fi movies. Total classic. The female lead in this Indiana Jones movie is just nearly intolerable to me.

Stephanie Wahl

I agree with your suggestions. Blade Runner is the best movie, but maybe The Fugitive is the best choice for their reaction. I really like Witness too, but as for reaction request to Jay and Amber I personally would be more interested in seeing Harrison Ford here in "What Lies Beneath".

Endre Snildal

Hey again, hope all is well. Def my favorite Indy film. Its exciting and fun. Thanx so much, much fun watchin' with ya, Peace

Good catch. Regarding Henry is another one I'd consider essential Harrison Ford viewing that I somehow overlooked.

Robert Greffey

Along with the other suggestions above, another great Ford movie is Regarding Henry. Go-getter lawyer loses his memory, and has to relearn everything about himself and his life. It's very heartwarming, I think you both would enjoy it.

Fugitive is a good popcorn movie they'll enjoy it

Karl Kraus

The Fugitive is great, and it stars Andreas Katsulas, another amazing actor.

So, that moment when Jay rolled his eyes as our heroes tumbled out of the plane on a life raft? That was 14 year old me in the movie theater in 1984. The first movie's action seemed more grounded and realistic, so it was moments like these that didn't sit so well with me when this came around. They reeled it back in a bit for the third film, but don't get me started on that Crystal Skull movie... 🤦‍♂️ You've seen Harrison Ford as his two most famous roles, Han Solo and Indiana Jones. But he's done good work in other films, some of them also classics of their own. A couple of essentials I'd recommend: Witness (1984) - Ford plays a Philadelphia cop who gets mixed up in intrigue and Amish people. The Fugitive (1993) - based on an old TV series about a man trying to solve the murder of his wife that the cops think he committed. Other notable mentions might be Blade Runner, which is an iconic film that he's the star of, but really, Rutger Hauer ends up stealing that show. But for my money, I love him in 42. It's Chadwick Boseman's movie, but Ford's supporting role as Branch Rickey may be one of my favorite acting performances of his career.

Short round ( Ke Huy Quan) also played Data on the Goonies. He also just won his first Oscar this year for "Everything Everywhere All At Once", Harrison Ford gave the Oscar for best Picture and it was such a touching moment on stage between the both of them.

Lisa Rhodes

The next in line, "The Last Crusade" is my favorite of the original trilogy. Can't wait for you to get to that one. Also, actor Ke Huy Quan, who played Short Round, won an Oscar this year for his role in "Everything Everywhere All at Once". Harrison Ford was there and they took a reunion pic together. Can't post it here, but it's easily found on Google.

I didn't enjoy Temple of Doom the first time either, but I think maybe I was too young to understand the implications of what was being portrayed. However, I watched it again last year, and I enjoyed it. I'm with you that The Last Crusade is my favorite. The chemistry between Ford and Connery is great, and I love the storyline. I'm really looking forward to the their reaction!

When you get back to black and white movies, watch Schindlers List its from 1993 but it was shot in B&W because it was to be like a documentary it does have two colored scenes though, at the very beginning and end Steven Spielberg directed this as well and its his most well known movie next to saving private ryan he had the most challenging time making that movie it nearly tore him apart because he's a Jewish man and the movie is about the Holocaust of all the more serious movies you've seen, you've had practice and I think you're ready to view this one its a real tearjerker, big time so bring your tissues with you along with your other items

Karl Kraus

I have to thank you for reacting to this movie. I am one of those people that really disliked this movie. I didn’t think it was good. It was the worst of all three of the Indiana Jones movies I had seen at the time, but while watching it now, I think it’s a good movie. I think what turned me off. was the evil that was displayed by human sacrifice, children, slaves, and removing the heart from a live person. But this is a good movie and it’s up there with the first one, I agree, now. The next one is my all-time favorite of all the movies. At this point, there are technica four Indiana Jones movies with one to be added later this year. I can’t wait to see your reaction to the last Crusade. When you have both Sean, Connery and Harrison Ford in the same movie, you really can’t go wrong. Thanks again for reviewing this.

Mary Alice

Everyone usually has this as one of the worst. Most people despise the female lead in this one. I think the kid more than makes up for it. BTW that’s the same kid as data in the goonies. He also quit acting because no one would cast him but he just made his return in the movie Everything Everywhere All at once and won an Oscar for best actor supporting actor.
