Slight pitch and timing alterations are also used by some music educator channels as well because YouTube refuses to stand up to music company lawyers about legitimate fair use by their creators. But I digress... Changing timing probably isn't an option with a film reaction. But perhaps look into pitch shifts for songs. It can make them sound kinda silly if you go extreme, I'm thinking one or two semitones might be all it takes. I'm guessing whatever editing software you use can do it, and if not, think about an upgrade. π Just out of curiosity, I looked up the distributor for Oh Brother, and it's Buena Vista, i.e., Disney. π€ I can only imagine they are ruthless, and humorless about copyright infringement, whether they are justified to be or not. Given what I've heard from enough ex-employees of that company, they really don't have much respect or use for ethical business practices and laws insuring them. So fair use or not, I'd count on them doing their best to take your ad money from you whether they actually deserve it or not.
