EARLY ACCESS YT EDIT MISERY (1990) | FIRST TIME WATCHING | MOVIE REACTION

YES, " BRIAN SONG!" One of the most poignant movies i have ever seen! And it's a movie that once you see it, you will never ever forget it! Based on the life of Chicago Bears player Brian Piccolo, played by James Cann and his friendship with, teammate, Gayle Sayers, played by Billy Dee Williams! The movie came out in early 70's I think and whether you react here or not, please see this movie, you will understand once you see it.

My favorite Jim Carrey movies are The Mask, Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and 2.

Douglas Custard

I could not watch the scene where James Caan get's he's feet smashed.

If you like word play you should react to 'Much ado About Nothing'(1993) starring Kenneth Branagh (Henry V, Hamlet, Murder on the Orient Express), Emma Thompson, Denzel Washington, Keanu Reeves, Kate Beckinsale (Underworld), Robert Sean Leonard (Dead Poet's Society and 'House').

I thinkl you need to react to some Shakespeare movies. My favorite is Franco Zeffirelli's Romeo and Juliet (1968) starring Leonard Whiting and Olivia Hussey. Romeo andd Juliet are star cross teenage lovers. There have been several Romeo and Juliet movies before Franco Zeffirelli's Romeo and Juliet, but they were played by adults. Leonard Whiting and Olivia Hussey were actual teenagers. Also. It's Michael York's first movie. You will recognize him if you watched the Austin Powers movies, 3 Musketeers and 4 Musketeeers movies. He is very good with a sword.

Can you guys organize your movies, so they are easier to navigate like in play lists?

Actually, The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile and Stand By Me are also on the list of Stephen King adaptations you've done. And this is your second adaption by director Rob Reiner. A movie set almost all in one location can be tough to keep interesting. Hitchcock's Rear Window tends to stand as a good example of being done well, and think Reiner did a stellar job here. Since Amber seems to like the crime stories, I'm becoming more convinced she'll be into The Godfather big time when you guys finally get around to it. Crime, and family drama. What's not to love? Anyway, that also features (a significantly younger) James Caan as one of the Corleone family. As for other thrillers, I'll take the time to pitch two of my favorites from the 90's again. Seven is one that will mess with your head. Probably gross you out more than a little, too, but it is a serial killer film so... Jay may need a happy thing to watch before bed after that one. Less gruesome, but just as fun a ride is The Usual Suspects. Each features some nice twists that would make for good reactions. And since we're on director Rob Reiner, when it's time for comedy, a film about rock n' roll, or better yet, a comedy about rock n' roll, you really need to do This Is Spinal Tap. P.S. - Happy Mother's Day to the Rob Squad Mom, Amber. Hope the irl family did you right for your day.

Where the hell is this movie? I can’t find it on any of the apps

Michael Lynch

Lisa Rhodes

Titanic is also high on our list!

Oh I want to watch Fried Green Tomatoes so badly! I didn’t know Kathy was in it, so now I want to watch it even more! - Amber

James Cann one of the best around. You probably recognize him as Buddy’s biological father in Elf. His resume is vast most notably as Sony Corlione in the Godfather movies, and in the tv movie Brian’s Song about Brian Piccolo and Gayle Sayers played by Billy Dee Williams friendship during their mid 1960’s time with the Chicago Bears.

Elizabeth Franco

Man another great Stephen King story! Kathy Bates is so good in this. She was also in Titanic,The Waterboy, The Blind Side,Dolores Claiborne (another Stephen King) and my favorite,Fried Green Tomatoes

Elizabeth Franco

My 2nd favorite James Caan movie is John Wayne's El Dorado (1966). He stars as 'Mississippi'.

Douglas Custard

My favorite James Caan movie is 'Brian's Song'. The movie co-stars Billy Dee Williams. He was Lando Calrissan in Star Wars :Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Have plenty of tissues 'Brian's Song will make you cry even if you normally don't cry. James Caan stars as Brian Piccolo and Billy Dee Williams stars as Gale Sayers.

Douglas Custard

And Happy Mother’s Day, Amber!!

David Croft-Ogawa

Great choice!! Great performances all around!

David Croft-Ogawa

"Fried Green Tomatoes." Kathy Bates is fantastic. Dolores Claiborne yes for sure. I quote a lot off this movie and all of her movies. This one is how my legs feel sometimes in pain like she put the block of wood in between my legs and sledge hammer them. I call it my Misery moments. Fried green Tomatoes is "TWANDA" and Dolorise is Being a bitch is the one thing a women can hold onto. All these movies is award winning roles. DO SECRET WINDOW WITH JOHNNY DEPP. GREAT MOVIE.

Lisa Rhodes

Happy Mother’s Day Amber! Happy Mother’s Day to all the RSR family mommas. Also, great movie choice. For another Stephen King adaptation that stars Kathy Bathes, check out “Dolores Clairborne”. For Kathy Bates movies in general there’s “Fried Green Tomatoes” and “Titanic”. For an action thriller full of suspense, check out “Crimson Tide” starring Denzel Washington and Gene Hackman in lead roles.

Patty Estrada

I believe this was Kathy Bates first real movie and she delivered such an amazing performance

Matt Brodzinski

If you’re looking for movies, similar to this, there’s a movie called sleeping with the enemy. It’s a earlier movie from the 80s I believe and you’ll recognize Julia Roberts is in it. It’s a really suspenseful movie. The same goes for the movie enough. The storylines are actually pretty similar, but enough stars J Lo, and it’s a more recent film. If you want to watch some thing, a little less suspenseful, watch kindergarten cop. Just make sure it’s the original one with Arnold Schwarzenegger. That’s a really cute movie and there is a bit of suspense in it, but not to the level of the other two movies I mentioned. As usual, this was a really good reaction. Kathy Bates did an amazing job in this movie playing a wacko. If you want to see a movie that Kathy Bates is in where she has a completely different character, if you haven’t already done, so, watch Fried Green tomatoes. The character is completely different and she does an amazing job in that movie as well.

Mary Alice

The victim to this maniac woman is played by James Caan, a crackerjack of an actor from the 70s and 80s, maybe even before I don't really know his whole career he's in a movie I hope you'll one day see: the Godfather and a brief scene in Godfather part ll at the very end if you watched the Hawaii Five 0 remake during its run, his son, Scott Caan, was a main character: Detective Danny Williams Are you going to take my advice and watch Star wars episode 7 the force awakens for the month of May? If you do, don't stop there Please watch the rest of the sequels as well!
