2023-06-13 00:27:56 +0000 UTCThis was a nice throwback movie, taking inspiration from the horror roots in the Universal classic monster movies, and also from adventure features and serials of yesteryear. A lot of folks like to draw comparisons to the Indiana Jones series, and although they share some common inspiration, I think this has a distinct voice and feel of it's own. Plenty of films tried to capture some of that Indy magic, but this one seems to do so without coming off as a cheap imitation.

All the ladies crush on Brandon while all the men crush on Rachel, lol. I also crush on our boy Oded/Ardeth protector of the city. The Mummy movies r a def great experience. I love museums and the Magi is a real thing most of this story is based on truth. Love Ancient history on Egypt.Rachel Weisz is married to James Bond in real life.(Daniel Craig) The second and Third follows the story line of this one . They just get better.Mummy 3 The Scorpion King Stars Dwayne Johnson ( The Rock) . Must Watch it Monday it is great. The 7 plagues of Egypt.is in the bible. Locusts fire, from the sky water into ,blood, plague. Yes Brandon Fraiser stars in them. The protective function of cats is indicated in the Book of the Dead, where a cat represents Ra and the benefits of the sun for life on EarthEgyptian Cats- Guardians of the Underworld by Grace Daiker Aker is the god who guarded the underworld. Aker is normally depicted as a narrow strip of land with two big cats or lions with either lion heads or human ....That is why the Mummy was so scared of cats.
