Was it Bogart that was brought to a bar by his friends the night before his funeral, propped up with a drink in his hand and a cigar in the other, or am I getting him confused with someone else?

2023-07-14 23:27:16 +0000 UTCThe original leader of the Rat Pack was Humphrey Bogart after he died Frank Sinatra became the leader of the Rat Pack.

2023-07-14 15:31:11 +0000 UTCMy wife and I love the channel. We wanted to join for many reasons. You definitely achieve the goal of making us smile. Please consider watching That Thing You Do, Eddie and the Cruisers, LaBamba, and Rockstar. Good movies, good music. You'll love them!

2023-06-17 07:09:57 +0000 UTCI'm still hoping for A Knight's Tale and Fried Green Tomatoes <3

2023-06-16 04:00:27 +0000 UTCGood Will Hunting is my first choice here as well. Really hoping it will make the top 3. Currently it seems that Pulp Fiction will make the top 3, and all though I personally love Tarantino and Pulp Fiction it is simply not a good choice for Jay and Amber. They will for sure not like that movie, but will indeed love Good Will Hunting! Let`s all just hope they will end up watching this one.

2023-06-15 23:04:58 +0000 UTCCompletely agree.

2023-06-15 17:55:15 +0000 UTCI agree with the comment above about Shindlers List and for that matter Pulp Fiction. Both are really good movies. But friends I get no thrill from seeing you genuinely upset by a movie and both will hit you in the heart. If you want to watch privately, then later share an after-the-fact review or commentary like friends talking about a move later I'd watch that. But I would never want to see your heart hurt again like it was in Saturday Night Fever, it broke my heart for you.

2023-06-15 13:06:30 +0000 UTCIt would be fun for them to do a poll of just these two. I think both of them will love both of these movies, and the human component will definitely give them the feels. Braveheart and Gladiator are both excellent movies, and there's very little difference between the winner of these two, like maybe 2%. I would pick Gladiator. I think it ultimately comes down to the acting of Crowe and Gibson. I think Crowe is able to pull off his role slightly better than Gibson. But that's like a difference between and A+ and an A++. But both teared me up, and I've seen both multiple times, I even saw Braveheart in the theater 4 times. Both have compelling plots, good acting, cohesive and tight scripts, moving music, and the visuals can't be beat. Braveheart taking advantage of the natural landscape, and Gladiator for high quality CGI enhanced sets that still hold up today.

2023-06-14 20:08:12 +0000 UTCFor me personally, it reminds me how to compare the Germany from then to now I'm not saying it's a movie I watch every weekend it's something of a teaching tool for not only movie fans but of history and these two LOVE history, no matter how dark it is When Steven won his Directing Oscar, he pleaded to the outside world to learn this story I've come to know this pair quite a bit and they're courageous to try something this is another example On another personal note, I'm of German descent in my family so I'm just horrified that thus sort of system was in place, all for supremacy of man So, I feel lucky that it's MOSTLY gone from this planet
Karl Kraus
2023-06-14 19:48:33 +0000 UTCFun movie!!

2023-06-14 19:48:16 +0000 UTCWhy on Earth would you want to watch Schindler's List again
J-Rob
2023-06-14 19:20:32 +0000 UTCI don't know what kind of grief eater's are wanting to see a reaction to Schindler's List
J-Rob
2023-06-14 19:19:33 +0000 UTCBraveheart and Gladiator were are powerhouses all Troy had to brag about was the all-star ensemble cast, which was still phenomenal but its not enough to win over a poll If it were down to those two, I'd choose Gladiator because it brought the ancient epics back into the conversation Plus, it was released on my 6th birthday 😉 The story is just grand as well
Karl Kraus
2023-06-14 13:39:22 +0000 UTCWell, looks like one of my votes from both rounds is going to make it into the winner's circle! Not often that I pick the winner in these things, so something must be wrong.😲 But win or lose, though, I do always like the polling, and this sort of of Battle Royale style was interesting and fun. Thanks, guys!
Robert Greffey
2023-06-14 13:18:25 +0000 UTCMakes me wonder who'd win in a Braveheart vs Gladiator head-to-head poll. If you HAD to round it out with a third choice, maybe Troy? But I think that'd pull a distant third to the real horse race of those first two.
Robert Greffey
2023-06-14 13:00:11 +0000 UTCI'd like to recommend The Mask Of Zorro(1998) with Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta Jones. It's a great Adventure/Romance movie a bit like The Mummy and I think you'd both love it.
Katie Jackson
2023-06-14 03:13:00 +0000 UTCHey, here's another movie for the next poll. You two want another Western with a great ensemble. Put Silverado on you next list. Great story with a fantastic cast including Kevin Costner's first movie (where his part didn't end up on the cutting room floor). Jeff Goldblum in a part to rivel Val Klimer's Doc Holliday and a whole lot more!!
Karen Silvera
2023-06-13 23:45:37 +0000 UTCYep, I feel the same way. Doesn't quite seem like a movie that should be "publicly" reacted to.
Shane
2023-06-13 23:20:57 +0000 UTCKarate Kid and Braveheart got my votes. Schindler's List is an AMAZING movie, but feels a little too "heavy" for a reaction. Maybe it's just me. Also, I'm still HOPING for a La Bamba reaction sometime. A movie filled with great music from the 1950s, and just superb acting, and about a REAL person. Sure, there are some inaccuracies, but what biopic *doesn't* have some mess-ups. Overall, though, it's just an awesome movie, and they'd love it for the music alone, even though they'll also love the story.
Shane
2023-06-13 23:19:25 +0000 UTCLisa, I agree with you. It's a great movie but we know Amber will not make it through or she'll be very VERY troubled at the very least. Tarantino is a great film maker for a certain movie taste. I love most of his films but I also know what I'm getting with him. Amber - do not think 'oh John Travolta. That should be fun.' This movie brought his career back but it's because he does not play to type. You 2 need to make dang sure you're ready for this if it makes it and you best be sure the kids are absolutely nowhere near. Seriously, it's a tough movie. A great movie too but I actually think it's way worse than any mafia movie.
Karen Silvera
2023-06-13 22:03:48 +0000 UTCNeverending Story is one of my favorites. I think they both would like. It's seemingly a kids movie, but there are themes for adults in there too.
Kristin D
2023-06-13 16:54:28 +0000 UTCGreat idea! I'd love to see The NeverEnding Story too

2023-06-13 01:29:33 +0000 UTCOkay...a little ADD...how do you submit votes? I voted, but not sure how to do this - First time and all..

2023-06-13 01:12:41 +0000 UTCI have watched it several times. I really feel since I have been watching them review movies since day one this is not a movie for them. There is Tarentino movies out there for them to watch. But by the reactions of some of the movies they have watched before definitely not this one. PULP FICTION NO NO NO. Rape, Sodomy ,drug over doses, murder I am gonna stick with it. I think if they want to watch it do it by themselves not to react too. Watch it alone because I know they are gonna find it not to their taste.
Lisa Rhodes
2023-06-12 19:35:37 +0000 UTCI’m surprised The Last Dragon is not on this list
Shutter Crazy
2023-06-12 19:27:24 +0000 UTCI voted for Braveheart. I hope it will still find it's place in the next round, but if it doesn't we can suggest it again in the future. It's hard when there are just so many movies for them to watch, we have at least a decade ahead of us of excellent movies. I'm hoping they will watch Braveheart, enjoy it, and then be more open to watching Gladiator.
Kristin D
2023-06-12 19:22:21 +0000 UTCI am pulling for a Robin Williams Triple......Doubtfire, Good Will Hunting and Dead Poets Society. One of the greatest actors ever.
FriarTom
2023-06-12 18:54:22 +0000 UTCI'm afraid both of my votes are getting left in the dust Schindler's List and Braveheart only have 33 and I don't think anybody else is going to vote for them So, I guess the ones I hope to move on are Good Will Hunting and Mrs. Doubtfire Schindler's List needs to be a wild card if it loses by 1 vote like Clue did
Karl Kraus
2023-06-12 18:33:15 +0000 UTCI’m pulling for Good will hunting so hard. Robin Williams at his finest in this movie.

Al Batista
2023-06-12 17:43:36 +0000 UTCUmmm....spoilers. And the movie is an absolute classic. It won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival when it came out, it was nominated for 7 Oscars (it won 1), and too many other awards to list. True, they haven't reacted to many R-rated movies, but you shouldn't exclude it outright because of that.
Al Batista
2023-06-12 17:40:41 +0000 UTCIt's in first place now. Looks like the fans were late to the party.
Al Batista
2023-06-12 17:32:05 +0000 UTCMaybe they can do a new fantasy poll after this one. I'd like to see Labyrinth included in there. I think they both will like Dark Crystal (this one is great for younger and older). Amber will love Labyrinth.
Kristin D
2023-06-12 15:09:32 +0000 UTCI had to pick Labyrinth. David Bowie not only acted in this but also wrote the music & song lyrics for the movie. He even provided the voice for the baby in the magic dance scene.
Sean colenso
2023-06-12 14:03:28 +0000 UTCNO NO NO on Pulp Fiction Amber and Jordan by your reactions . There is RAPE ,SODOMY, DRUG OVER DOSE VERY VIOLENT murder , I WATCH YOUR OTHER REACTIONS TO MOVIES SINCE THE BEGINNING .IF YOU WANT TO WATCH IT WATCH IT ON YOUR OWN I WOULDN'T DO IT FOR A REACTION VIDEO .THERE WERE SEVERAL COMMENTS LEFT LIKE THIS THE LAST POLL. IF YOU MUST DO A TARANTENO MOVIE Reservoir Dogs (1992), Inglourious Basterds, The Hateful Eight (2015)or Once Upon a Time… In Hollywood (2019)
Lisa Rhodes
2023-06-12 03:01:26 +0000 UTCI whole heartedly agree with Kristin. There are very few movies I would feel this way about but here I agree. Watch the picture yourselves and react to it with each other and internally. We all get somewhat desensitized to violence in Movies and TV but when confronted right in your face with true examples of man’s inhumanity to his fellow man this deeply effects people in different ways that may be to personal to share. Just an opinion. Watching films and listening to great music with you both is like spending quality time with friends. Maybe just keep this one personal.
Geoff Thomas
2023-06-12 02:42:35 +0000 UTCAh man, Mr Holland's Opus didn't even make the second tier cut! Jay and Amber, y'all really need to watch that film, seriously, their will probably be tears and everything.
Fomsie
2023-06-12 02:07:51 +0000 UTCHave they watched the original Planet of the Apes with Charlton Heston? If not, I would highly suggest it. And then start in on this suggested series by all means.
Michael Weiner
2023-06-12 01:14:39 +0000 UTCThis is a an extremely sensitive and excellent suggestion.
Michael Weiner
2023-06-12 01:13:01 +0000 UTCIt would only let me vote once. My second vote would've been for Wizard Of Oz. There is one other movie series I would like to suggest that I think many would agree with me on and it is Rise of the Planet of the Apes (the one with James Franco). I think ya'll would REALLY like it & Andy Serkis plays the main character, he's the guy that played Golum in LOTR.
Kara Davis
2023-06-12 00:51:03 +0000 UTCIt would be fun to watch for Halloween!
Kristin D
2023-06-12 00:50:26 +0000 UTCNot sure Braveheart will pull through, but I'm with you on it. It's a great epic film, one of Gibson's best, plus he also directed it.
Kristin D
2023-06-12 00:31:02 +0000 UTCI realize this is probably an unpopular opinion, but I will say this anyway, as I know I'm not the only who feels this way. I vote that you watch Schindler's List, but privately and not as a reaction. It is worth seeing, but it is a very intimate and emotional movie, probably more than anything else you've seen.
Kristin D
2023-06-12 00:30:08 +0000 UTCI love all of the suggestions! That being said my 2 votes are for Braveheart and Pulp Fiction. 2 fantastic movies that I know you both will enjoy!
Troy
2023-06-11 23:13:52 +0000 UTCMy pleasure Amber! Any time!

2023-06-11 22:56:55 +0000 UTCFirst time voting. Good list. Don’t do Pulp Fiction as your first Tarantino movie. It will spoil you.

2023-06-11 22:37:23 +0000 UTCSchindler's List was an easy #1 but it was hard to choose between the original Karate Kid and the Wizard of Oz. I'm not just choosing the ones I like but the ones I think you'll like. Chose the Wizard of Oz because I want you to follow-up with The Wiz -- and the Karate Kid had enough votes, I think, to make the next list. If you end up choosing Pulp Fiction or A Few Good Men, those reactions I'll probably skip.
Shirley Durr
2023-06-11 22:36:27 +0000 UTCIt is set for multiple. Could you try again and let me know if it’s still just doing one?

2023-06-11 22:32:36 +0000 UTCThe board game is a blast! My older brother owned it as a kid and we played it by his choice all the time I've only won like once, by pure luck how many times did you win?

2023-06-11 22:31:26 +0000 UTCI can only choose one you need to change the selection amount in your code for the poll

2023-06-11 22:20:37 +0000 UTCA lot of good choices! My top 3 would be Karate Kid, A Few Good Men, and Lethal Weapon.

2023-06-11 22:20:25 +0000 UTCGirl you must add it to the Roster. If not now, then Halloween time 🙌🏽
Kathy Carter
2023-06-11 22:12:48 +0000 UTCI wanted to add it in as a wild card so bad because it only missed it by 1 vote, and I’m super intrigued to watch it. I (Amber) played the board game when I was a child so the movie naturally sounds appealing
