2023-06-21 16:33:43 +0000 UTCConsidering that Jay is really not into the sappy type of rom-coms, but has enjoyed Overboard, Princess Bride, and Wedding Singer and Coming to America, here are a few others worth considering: Clueless (modernization of the Jane Austen book, Emma) 50 First Dates (Drew Barrymore, Adam Sandler) My Blue Heaven, which is more comedy with some romance (Steve Martin, Joan Cusack, Rick Moranis) Another movie that is not romance related, but popped into my mind that I think is a worthy reaction is The King's Speech. Based on a true story of King George (Queen Elizabeth's father) and his personal challenges with a speech impediment, and having to speak to the world during WWII. This is a very heartwarming and feel good movie. Colin Firth, Jeffery Rush, Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix from Harry Potter).

Bill Hudson was a part of the Hudson Brother's musical group. Amber - Kurt was a major crush growing up. He started in Disney movies.

2023-06-19 19:57:36 +0000 UTCOk Well, since it's Father's day, I'll let it slide lol I guess I shouldn't blame him anyway With that broken faucet, storms in the area again and now a road trip on his mind, I'd do what he did too All is forgiven Rob Squad I just can't bear to wait any longer; I absolutely love seeing you react to star wars and I can tell you love watching it for yourself and not just as a reactor After what you told me, I'm 100 times more excited to see this movie than the others and I bet episode 9 will be the same If your kids' road trip is coming up REAL SOON (when is it?), then 9 won't be seen for a long while since your top 3 poll is about to have winners and that'll take all next month So, it won't be until August sometime to watch it, which sucks 😞😓😩😤 Once we get past the saga, I won't be as nitpicky like this that much, if anymore I promise, to you and to the other patrons Just bear with me for a while longer P.S. Love the Kurt Russel and Goldie Hawn connection off and on the screen . True love for over 40 years. No not Patrick Swazey from Dirty Dancing. He is from a Western you did. You might of seen them play Mr. and Mrs. Santa Clause in a Disney show.

Our other favorite rom-com is French Kiss. It’s fun and charming, and not sappy. Meg Ryan and Kevin Cline. I hope some day you will watch it.

Phenomenal movie starring Jeff Bridges “The Dude” Big Lobowski….emotional and heartwarming. Would have won best picture if it didn’t go up against lord of the rings!…lol
