You know my favorite football movie? Invincible with Mark Wahlberg. It's from 2006, so might be recent enough that you have seen it. Probably Jay has at least...but I bet Amber would love it if she hasn't seen it yet.

I’m a sports card collector and have had my 1969 Brian Piccolo and Gale Sayers cards together in my office for many years. Please watch the movie “Invincible” another true NFL story about Vince Papale.

Jay & Amber loved your reaction. Such a good story of brotherhood! My pops made me watch this movie. We all have someone who may have more skill naturally than we have. Brian worked his butt off did his job and shined in his own right. It’s a movie about respect. Another good sports movie but it is rather old is Jim Thorpe-All American it is from 1951 about a Native American athlete considered the greatest athlete in the first half of the century.

This is a great classic movie, good choice!
Ever seen “The Natural”? Baseball movie starring Robert Redford, you’ll both love it!
And “Seabiscuit” about an undersized, underdog race horse based on a true story from the depression era. Feel good, positive vibes throughout, awesome movie!

If you love true sports stories, please watch the baseball movie, The Rookie
You loved Field of Dreams and Rudy, so you'll love this story just as much
It has the same premise as Rudy, which is following your heart and seeing dreams through, even if they seem impossible

Jordan, the reason why you've never heard of this movie before is because it was originally a TV movie that aired on ABC, part of the channel's "Movie of the Week" catalog
If you've heard of Tony Danza, he was in another football movie that you probably never heard of, "The Garbage Picking Field Goal Kicking Philadelphia Phenomenon", which of course, involves the Philadephia Eagles, only its fiction and the one you have here is a true story
This movie aired on ABC, part of the Wonderful World of Disney series, in 1998
You never know about actually seeing all of something, lesson learned
You might be surprised

Ah a tear jerker for Film Friday. Great choice squad. You’ll recognize much younger versions of James Caan (Misery) and Billy Dee Williams (Lando from Star Wars movies). This is an absolute true story. Brian Piccolo passed away in 1970 and this came out in 1971. I think this is the first film you’ve done that was actually a TV movie of the Week airing on ABC not a theatrical release. Back in the day they made some really good movies directly for television.

For more James Caan y’all should watch The Godfather. I just really want to see you two react to a gangster crime film (even though they might be too violent for you, I think y’all can hang lol). My favorite is “Goodfellas” from Martin Scorsese (one of the great directors).
