LOL! I'm sure someone out there has been itching to tell me, "Edit your posts and keep it pithy, you pretentiously long-winded knob!" Besides my wife. So it's almost disappointing it wasn't intended as a burn, because it would have made a deliciously fine one. But...
I didn't read it as such anyway. On it's own, it seemed sufficiently self deprecating, and you've been nothing but gracious and respectful with any communications I've seen you make here that I would find it too out of character to believe it if you did. So, no worries.
And in conclusion, blah blah I also skipped Black Hawk Down, blah blah, yeah, dude, Gladiator! 😁

British director Guy Ritchie is a great director also. His 2000 movie, Snatch is his best with a great performance by Brad Pitt as the Irish gypsy, Mickey. Please consider Snatch for a reaction 🙂❤️

As many times as I've seen this, I really enjoyed watching this with you guys. Django unchained & the hateful 8 are Tarantino movies you would enjoy.

I'm glad you two ended up enjoying this movie. I kinda thought you would. Also, I love that Amber brought up the dialogue. Tarantino has written excellent dialogue in all of his 9 films. You two would enjoy all of Tarantino's films. People are already suggesting Kill Bill 1 & 2. However, I would like to suggest Django Unchained, Inglorious Basterds, and Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. I really believe you two would enjoy all 3 of these. I loved and enjoyed this reaction immensely!

My previous “blah” comment was not towards you. Meaning that whatever *I* had to say was blah.

Not a big fan of Tarantino, but this is probably tied with Jackie Brown for my favorite of his work that I've seen. Anthology films are even more rare today, but at the time, I think it managed to strike a chord in popular culture to become the runaway hit that it was. It still has plenty of the excesses of his work that I find less appealing (and not so much the seedy situations, but things like indulgence with film references and too much talking in the screenplay).
You guys seem more focused with on-screen talent most time, so it's refreshing to see you paying attention to the directorial talent. There are a few iconic directors I wouldn't mind seeing you check out. Maybe even worth a poll centered around directors and their titles. Dunno, just spit-balling on that, but it'd be something different.
You're running out of the better Rob Reiner films, you've hit more than a few Steven Spielberg films, as well as Robert Zemeckis. So maybe not so much those guys. But... some more Alfred Hitchcock or Coen Bros. which you've already done a title or two from would always be welcome. I'm not a big Stanly Kubrick fan, but he's another iconic director which many would say you need to see more of than The Shining.
But some directors you have not done at all that you probably should sooner rather than later. Some random favorites and notable suggestions (with some example films) I would suggest might be:
Francis Ford Coppola - The Godfather, Apocalypse Now, The Outsiders
Ridley Scott - Alien, Blade Runner, Thelma and Louis, Gladiator
Christopher Nolan - Momento, Inception, Interstellar, The Dark Knight Trilogy
Martin Scorsese - Taxi Driver, Goodfellas, The Departed
David Fincher - Seven, Fight Club, Zodiac
Denis Villeneuve - Sicario, Arrival, Dune

Joining in to echo what others have said. Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2 should be the next Tarantino movies!

Worth the price of admission. I had to raise my tier just to watch this immediately. lol. Absolutely your best reaction yet. Nice to see you guys get out of your comfort zones. Kudos for seeing past the violence and language and appreciating the art of this film. My recommendation for your next Tarantino film would be Kill Bill Vol. 1 and Vol. 2. Also, he co-wrote two of the best movies out there - True Romance and From Dusk Till Dawn. Highly recommend those two as well. Super glad that you went through with it and didn't listen to the nay-sayers. Rob Squad...giving the people what they want!

Kill Bill part 1 & 2 would be great to watch. You could make it a a double feature special.

If somebody hasn’t said, so, it’s a real to reel, tape deck people used to record lots of music on it very high-end stereo systems were all the rage back in the day turntables also known as record players, real real tapes, eight track, tapes, cassette tapes, and CDs. Finally MP3s.

I am so glad you had the guts to watch it. I also knew that you would over all really like it. This is my favorite Tarantino movie, my next favorite is True Romance, another brilliant but at times harsh great movie. My 3rd favorite is Reservoir Dogs, which is the prequel to Pulp Fiction and includes some crossover characters. Thanks for a great review, one of your best : ]

Me cringing with them during certain scenes thinking: "Woe to the masochists who voted to inflict this ugliness upon these sweet pure souls..."
Also me (albeit at the end): "Oooh, they're gonna love Kill Bill Vol 1 & 2!

I am very surprised you watched this even after all the warnings. We warned you it was graphic and vulgar. This pushed a lot of limits. It is what they record music on track . Tarantino was Jimmy (the man with the coffee) that they went to clean up and send in the wolf. I guess if you watched this you could handle John Wick series and some horror. 12 monkey's is a great movie. With Bruce Willis and Brad Pitt.

Hot mess/dumpster fire is an accurate description of Tarantino plots. 🤣 Jimmy - the guy who was worried about his wife Bonnie coming home is Quentin Tarantino. He has cameo parts in most if not all of his movies.

Uncomfortable at times, but iconic … you folks had to get to this one eventually just because of that alone. I highly recommend Jackie Brown of you want to experience more Tarantino, but maybe without some of the 🤢moments.

“Seabiscuit” from 2003 you guys will love. Set in the depression era and based on a true story about an undersized race horse. Very uniquely written and directed, there’s some narration throughout that tells a story which you guys love. Nominated for several academy awards! Awesome feel good movie

Glad that you two were able to get through this, and found some merit in it (yes, I skipped to the end to see how you two fared).
Two movie I want to suggest are...
For your next Tarantino film, please watch Inglorious Basterds.
For your next Bruce Willis film, please consider Fifth Element. Quirky, upbeat, futuristic space adventure. Plus it has Gary Oldman who played Sirius Black in Harry Potter. I think you two would really enjoy it.

Good God, here we are at last: the dreaded reaction to Pulp Fiction, one of the gnarliest movies ever put on screen
It's art, but art has acquired tastes
As a movie buff, I like it just fine but the subject matter in here is just disturbing to the eyeballs
I'm scared to watch this reaction
But seeing Samuel L. Jackson on screen will placate my nerves though...

I’m cheesing so hard at both of you saying this was a good movie 🤗…and so glad that you were able to see the artistry in his filmmaking. This movie was revolutionary when it came out and continues to be one of the most influential films of the 90’s. By the way, Jimmie was played by Quentin Tarantino himself. “Inglorious Basterds” “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood” “Django” “Reservoir Dogs” are a few Tarantino suggestions.

I know a lot of people warned you about this movie because its kind of violent and has a more unique structure. That said, you guys would definitely like Kill Bill (Volume 1 and 2 should be seen as one complete story) and Inglorious Basterds. These are more "palatable" and easier to follow for lack of a better word but also amazing and pretty universally agreed upon as incredible work from Tarantino.
Kill Bill is a very influential movie by this point that borrows a lot from kung fu features and follows maybe one of the most kick ass heroines put to film.
Inglorious Basterds is Tarantino's WW2-era film set in Nazi-occupied France, and I dont want to give too much away but its amazing.
