Yeah, just being on Patreon doesn't supercede copyright infringement.

@Elisabeth Cullen every patreon is different. Somr reactors you DON'T need to sync up (they play video and sound) and some you do. USually if its a watch along and you need your own video the reactors tells you in the about section or tier section before you join

Thank you! I didn't realise you had to also be watching. I thought Patreon was where people went so that they didn't get in trouble for watching full shows and movies on YouTube. So glad I found this out before I joined any more Patreon accounts, lol.

I absolutely agree. The recast was a fail and so was the entire movie!

Are you watching the full length videos? If you are, this is a way to get around the copyright infringement issue on YouTube, as YouTube is really sensitive about that. You will need your own copy of the movie to sync with Jay and Amber's.
If this is happening with the YouTube edits, I'm not sure why that is. That is not happening to the videos I'm watching.

I need HELP :D. This is the first time I have joined a Patreon channel so I don't know where else to ask for help.
Why is it that the sound from the movie stops after a few minutes? Am I supposed to be doing something or is that just how it is? So grateful for any advice.

There is a third part that wraps up the trilogy, but IMO, its not worth the watch. The re-casting of Evie just doesn't fit, and her character is written differently. Also, it's just not good, but again this is my opinion.

Since you like snd Egypt, consider watching Stargate. It’s a lot of fun, and takes place in an Egypt type setting. The movie inspired three tv series, including SG-1 which has 10 seasons and 2 movies.

Through that multi-round poll, the winners and now this
They need to finish the saga, the last movie has been dangling and no one likes danglers

Don't bother with the third one; it doesn't take place in Egypt but China so that was the first bad move; the second was that Evie was recast so the charm of the character was lost with that happening
So, I recommend you just consider this the perfect wrap-up and move on from the Mummy
But, the Scorpion King movie was actually not that bad; in fact, it was pretty good, great choreography, good origin story for the character and a lot of humor so, give that a watch

Happy birthday, Amber!
Welcome to the early days of CGI. After complimenting the work earlier, I'm glad Jay called out the questionable work done on The Rock's Scorpion King character. It's an instance where the FX team's reach exceeded its grasp, and is a frequently cited example of bad CGI work from the tech's earlier days. I'm an OG Star Trek fan, so cheap looking special effects are hardly a deal breaker for me if you're spinning a good yarn. But still worth a nice chuckle pointing it out.

There are in fact more in this epic series. The Scorpion King (2002) with a LOT more of the Rock as the title role. Then in 2008 we got The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor where Alex (the son) who is grown up has his own adventure.
After all of these were so successful, Universal Pictures re-booted the whole thing in 2017 with Tom Cruise in The Mummy. But that version is widely considered a flop.

The Arabic fighters are called mujahideen, Arabic mujāhidūn (“those engaged in jihad”), singular mujāhid, in its broadest sense, Muslims who fight on behalf of the faith or the Muslim community (ummah). Its Arabic singular, mujāhid, was not an uncommon personal name from the early Islamic period onward.
