New Grounds to Cover
Added 2025-03-07 02:48:00 +0000 UTCHello everyone,
Recently I've come into possession of a Sennheiser MKH416 thanks to my partnering with Void Interactive - which means I am now able to record things at studio quality in the right environments, which is one of the issues I'm currently facing. I have no real location to record without housing elements, such as a hallway causing reverb in my recordings. If you weren't aware; the MKH416 records at a very sensitive rate and can practically pickup everything when recording. So even though this hallway I'm referring to is about 10-12 feet away, you can still hear it with loud samples such as bolt drops and slide releases for weapons. I'm hoping to find a solution for this problem in the near future with potentially buying a small outdoor shop to setup sound osculating materials inside, or perhaps buy sound blankets to set up around my work area during recording sessions. I'm not sure which direction I'm going to pull this towards since both have their up and downs.
As always I appreciate the patrons here that stay consistent and provide me support. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to improve your experience on here and things I could provide.
