2025-01-10 18:22:46 +0000 UTCBefore you upgrade, in version 1.2.3. Turn this option off in the settings: under Settings / Playlist / "Grey out unavailable songs in playlists on startup", uncheck that then try the new version again and see if that helps.

2025-01-10 15:00:41 +0000 UTCThe only thing I can think of that's causing it to freeze on startup in the new version is that I changed the way it checks if songs are available, so now it will take a bit longer and can freeze a little on startup if you have large playlists. How long did you wait for it to respond? I tried to add my entire collection with over 24.000 songs and it only took a few seconds for it to respond.

2025-01-10 14:58:45 +0000 UTCI actually don't have any regular playlists defined. I have a couple of smart playlists defined that select from my whole collection, which is a few thousand tracks. I downgraded back to 1.2.3 and that's working fine, can try the upgrade again if it will help.

2025-01-10 14:13:50 +0000 UTCJonas, when I installed 1.2.4 on my Macbook (x86) it will start up but then hangs -- doesn't respond to mouse clicks at all, I have to force quit it.
