Heads up on future pricing and subscription changes!

I may as well do it all at the start of next year and give everyone time to consider what it means for them long term.
Firstly is the pricing. For anyone currently subscribed, this shouldn't change at all, however new subscribers will be changed $1 more, making it $6 per month instead of $5 for anyone not subscribed before Jan. Patreon sees this as a good way to offer a loyalty bonus of sorts, but I still don't want to charge anyone too much, so I'm only opting in for the lowest increase to affect the fewest people.
To quote the other change:
"You need to switch to subscription billing by November 2025
Because of Appleโs requirements, you wonโt be able to get new earnings or paid members in the iOS app starting November 2024, unless youโve switched to subscription billing."
In other words, Things will now swap over to subscription billing, which again should only affect newcomers and allow people to subscribe whenever they want for a full month going forward. While this will make things messy for me, I think it makes more sense for customers long term to not make them wait for the start of each month to get the most from their money.
TLDR, Everyone already subscribed, nothing should change.
For anyone new its $1 more but you can pick and choose exactly when to start subscribing knowing you'll always get the full month.

No prob. I wouldn't just slap this on people, even if it doesn't have an effect on 90% of my followers. That other 10% could be influenced and don't need a seemingly random change to deal with after Christmas.
