Some people feel like they have to get it perfect on the first try to be good enough, but that's just not true IMO. Donβt stress about your sketches, they can look however they need to. Just enjoy the process! π
I say this after a friend came to me and kept comparing themselves to others even on sketchin. Dont woooorrry about how messy yours look Unless your sketch confuses even you hahaha.

I guess it's all part of the road. Just like taking notes, having a cohesive foundation or structure to follow is important, but more important is that you understand your own stuff and let things flow from there. Taking more time does not mean being lackluster, it is the learning curve leaded by patience, where we find our way to improve at our own pace. cool way of thinking :D (also that perspective work is crazy good).
