Friday Fun - Superheroes

So here's the set up... a couple of years back, I was actually working on a superhero-themed story. I had various characters created but no fights done. Then... my computer crashed! I lost some of the characters but had others saved.
Anyways, now with the Deluxe tier, I've been exploring and thinking up new and different non-BABE/non-FLOW stories and I'm revisiting the superhero angle. I've already got some stuff done but I was curious...
Just to brainstorm, what kind of superheroes do find worthy of adapting into fighters? Any stories that stick out to you? Like I said, I've got some ideas already (and not to tease you more but I've already got a couple of stories done) but I want to find some more inspiration.

And just like that, the seed for a story has just been planted! Out of curiosity, have you come across a comic book story like this before? A particular heroine?
