The goal has been reached, the mission accomplished. Sophie Nevers, Corporal with the Intelligence division of Army Command, has delivered the crucial information that undoubtedly turned the tide of the East Klomp/ Goobervania conflict. As was mentioned in the comic, the actual nature of that information cannot be revealed. Much as I'd love to relay all the intricately plotted details of the intelligence briefing, it is not to be. It's been said, though, that half the fun is getting there, and although we don't know the nature of what she said, we do know how she got to this point: and that, I think, is enough.

There is one more page after this one, by the way, to wrap thing up a bit.

I made the controversial decision to let Sophie (her name is Sophie, by the way) keep her boots and hosiery for the final page. Partially this was because I wanted to wrap things up, and having her give up the boots and hose would have meant another page for a story that was never meant to be half this long in the first place: but I also kind of liked the visual of her in the hose and boots saluting. I dunno, I think it was worth it, but your mileage may vary. I promise the shoes won't be surviving the next couple of stories, and there's always next time for the character. Anyhow, one more page to go!
