As Laser Lass continues her high speed, campus wide, and very naked search of Awesome University's grounds, her thoughts inevitably drift to her current circumstances. She knows her search must continue, that Mondo Mongo must face justice for his crimes, that is obvious.

Very much so.

Gotta happen.

For realsies.

She does wish, as he has many other times today, that she could be a little more dressed for the proceedings, especially now that the movie theatre format cameras are coming out.

In a normal story, a scene like this might be left out because it doesn't contribute very much to the plot. She was running on the previous page, and she's running on this page, maybe one of those pages can go. But sometimes an efficient narrative is not the be all and end all of storytelling, sometimes it's important to let a scene breathe and find its own equilibrium.

Sometimes you have to stop and smell the flowers.

So, instead of rushing to the final conflict, I decided to spend another page exploring Laser Lass's mental state as she streaks through the campus, tracking her quarry. Plus I get to draw more running poses, which I find are kind of fun to do.
