Summer Mammaries

Early in the new year I got an iPad as late Christmas gift to myself, I also got the iPen stylus thingie along with Procreate: the greatest art app ever to be named after the act of sexual intercourse. After some messing around and getting to know the features, I set about using it for the same purpose for which I employ all art supplies: drawing a surprised woman with large breasts.
I picked away at this piece for many months in various places: sitting in an easy chair, over at friend's places, a few feet away from my actual computer, adding to it in little dribs and drabs. I had hoped it would be ready by the beginning of summer, but alas I didn't have it in a state where I was happy with it until near the end of the sunny season and at that point I was in full swing with Becky vs Bugs, and I didn't want to interrupt the story's flow. So here she is at the end of the summer, maybe in the southern hemisphere somewhere, soaking up the sun and communing with nature like a true beach gal.
I think this is a fun piece, but I wouldn't want to do every picture this way as it's very labour intensive. I do want to get the most out of my iPad, though, so I have another one on the go that I'll be picking away at for a while. Hopefully a shorter while, as I learned quite a bit doing this one.

I didn't know what I was going for at first, I was just puttering around with all the different tools that procreate had to offer, but it does have something of an Annie Fannie about it. It's a little more cartoonish than I usually go. Don't worry, due to the time it takes to do, you won't see this painting style too often. 😄
