To suggest Trump corrects in the right direction but in the wrong way is either intellectually lazy or dishonest. It suggests you trust his intentions are good and not self-serving, and ignores how counterproductive his policy goals actually are i.e. starve government-funded programs like DoE or USAID to “cut waste fraud and abuse”, while at the same time quadrupling ICE budget to deport immigrants who are a net-positive for our economy. I find this whole red-scare flavored, overly academic white girl conservatism aesthetic so nauseating.
