Maki and friends
Added 2025-07-06 22:00:00 +0000 UTCI've had this commission in the works for a very long while, and it has taken me way longer than intended to get finished and I haven't shown any of it here I think. I've had great difficulty trying to get all these characters together in one scene as they are supposed to be kind of swapped out, but also make them fit into the scene neatly. Perhaps the hardest part to make work has been all of their height differences, as ive even had to go back to a 3D layout several times, and play with poses, field of view, distance, position... It's been a lot...

But on the note of saying its been a lot, if you want to or care to read sad stuff.... Today I'm going to my grandmother's funeral, and it hasnt been that long since the last either, for my father's. Its been a lot of stuff lately and its all pulled at me. And there's apparently a lot to do when someone passes away... So much has weighed on my mind as well, even when I did have the time to draw I struggled to even draw anything.
So yeah most of these sketches are a bit old so to speak. some are newer... But what I posted earlier is something I cooked up over a few days prior to posting it, so yeah the struggle is real, but I think with great effort of all the things I do, and taking care of myself I can persevere.
