A Render, A Work in Progress, and Clippy
Added 2025-08-11 23:58:31 +0000 UTCNot really a big fan of how the render came out. The framing feels wack, too much is cut off, I just don't like how it looks. The pose is great, but not how it's shown visually.
But this render did push me into my new project for the month: A Total remake of the Hippogriff! The previous Big update to the hgriff was necessary, but it's night and day when you can start fresh.
Comparing his new Base to the previous feels unfair. You can see just how far I've come with sculpting details. Where I used to want really sharp lines, I've now learned to soften my brush and restrain myself.
And we have Clippy! A 2 hour project that was supposed to take like 30 minutes, but the Blender logo is a nightmare of a shape to make with curves.
And yeah, the idea is related to the Louis Rossman protest of Microsoft and consumer rights being eroded. And not because I see it as effective, but because Clippy is an icon. And Amogus Blender was getting old. I haven't seen an Among Us meme in months, so it may finally be done. Clippy is timeless
