Morphic Grace: It's Coming!

April 2023. That's when this long pause has started. 8 months ago.
September 2023. That's when I've started working on a new comic, 4 months ago. Finally, it's coming to life.

I'm calling it Morphic Grace.
The title inspiration comes from a phenomenon called Morphic Resonance, "the idea that, through a telepathic effect or sympathetic vibration, an event or act can lead to similar events or acts in the future or an idea conceived in one mind can then arise in another".
It started at 60k words. Through multiple iterations, I've removed and polished everything I could, because less is more. Finally, I've completed the preparatory work, and it's going to have around 12k words and a whopping 582 pages.

I'm starting to create the actual scenes soon. For now, every dialogue, character and location is set.
You know how much I care about storytelling. I hope this new method will take it up a notch: every dialogue, every outfit, every interaction has been thought with the whole picture in mind.
And, hopefully, this will prevent me from experiencing a writer's block in the middle of the story.

The style I have decided to adopt in this case is more direct: not a single caption, every day is announced by a page that lets you follow the whole storyline.
Indeed, there are 3 main parts. The 1st one revolves around sci-fi beautification, the 2nd one about gender swap and the 3rd one about sexual conversion.
I will publish it over the course of 14 months, with an average of 42 pages per update (compared to the usual 30) and never fewer pages than 37.
I have decided to give myself this 4-months-advantage, extending the pause, to hopefully give me a few months to complete my paused stories, without the stress of the monthly update.

The story will focus on Brian's relationship with his wife Amber, how their relationship changes dramatically and their progressive power reversal, over the course of 2 years and 2 months.
Indeed, I feel like many stories are too sudden, which makes the characters development unrealistic. Morphic Grace is set in a parallel world, betweeen May 2024 and July 2026.

I'm hoping to have the 1st part ready for January.
