A Question About Monthly Donations ✦

Hi, everyone! As you all know, part of what we do in here is donate a portion of our monthly earnings to various organizations or individuals. That is something we have consistently done since November and it's something I hope we can continue to do together for a longer time.

Our donations usually comprise of 5%, 10% or 15% of the total Patreon payout after fees + The sales from charity items from my local art shop and my Redbubble.

That being said, the infrequency of my uploads in here also means lesser Patrons per month, and that also means a smaller amount for donations. To be honest with you, it makes me feel bad to post donations that don't reach the amount I personally set for myself, but I still want to be very transparent about where your support goes and how much of it gets donated.

I want to ask for your help in deciding how we should proceed with donations moving forward. Our options, as I see it, are:

A. Donations can be made to one charity/organization every other month so that the accumulated amount would be slightly bigger compared to a monthly donation. (one charity will get 15-20$ or more every other month*)

B. Donations can be made to one charity/organization every month so that the amount we donate, although smaller, will go to multiple charities. (each charity will get 5-15$ or more every month*)

*donation amount still depends on the total Patreon earnings after fees have been processed. A total amount of 60$+ after fees would be the base price we have to reach so we can donate an adequate amount.

Giving back to the community is something I always promised myself I would do if I find myself earning from this hobby, and as my main supporters and the sole reason I am even able to do this, your input regarding this is very important to me.
