There's more than a third of Pakistan already underwater because of floods rattling the entire country since mid-June. For our August donations, we sent our help to the Pak Mission Society (located in Islamabad, Pakistan) in their efforts to send relief to the victims of flooding in vulnerable areas of Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab, with the objective to activate a coordination mechanism to respond to any emergency.
From their GlobalGiving project page:
Emergency Response to this disastrous situation will save 100 households from starvation, illness and related human suffering. The immediate food relief which covers almost 1 month will help them to recover, temporary shelters help them to settle especially benefitting children, women, expectant mothers, person with disabilities and elderly. Non-food items like mosquito nets, hygiene kits will save from COVID-10 outbreak, malaria, dengue virus and stomach diseases.

I say it repeatedly, but thank you so much for being here. There aren't enough words to convey how grateful I am that we can send help to other people in need, no matter how big or small the amount. I appreciate you loads đ
