So the dark energy plotline was based on an episode of Star Trek TNG. Knowing absolutely nothing about how the voices work, but assuming it's some sort of text to speech... Why do they sometimes mispronounce words? I heard Barack say "Salarians" as "sah-lah-rians" instead of "suh-lare-ians", but they usually get it right.
