I'm definitely guilty of getting into my fair share of "heated" debates about the ME3 endings, especially when they dropped over 10 years ago. At least I turned that nonsense into something productive.

The control ending is the ending with the most upside. Shepard’s spirit and authority lives, all your squad lives with no mingling of synthetic juices and Shepard rules as God Emperor which is really the ultimate accomplishment an RPG player should strive for.
