Looking back, this episode is odd pacing wise. Correct me if I'm wrong but Feros is the only major mission to be split between two Presidents. Donald starts it here and Barack picks it back up in 5.

I get asked a lot about the deaths and how they happen, Donald's here was staged to a degree. You can tell I reacted to the sound of the Geth Sniper, and instead of healing or activating Shield Boost I tried to find an angle of the Geth Barrier to see if it would block the shot, which it did not.
A portion of the deaths are like that. It's never been so much planned as its get myself into a bad situation and try to make it out, or don't do whatever the most correct thing is. There are of course ones that are obvious gags, like Joe falling into the lava during the Overlord DLC. Likewise, there were plenty of legitimate deaths, Barack getting vomited on by a Thorian Creeper on in Episode 5, for example.
