Added 2025-04-17 19:39:31 +0000 UTCI've had the concept for a while, but I got around to rendering out the logo with updated colours to match the Qu/Myu refresh ;o;
I usually give the logo a bit of care every few years, but I know it's a much bigger change to go from the iconic blue/purple to a purple/orange, than to just tweak a few things, but I feel the logo was due for an overhaul in some way shape or form.
I really, really enjoy the lavender/orange, but I'm not completely sold on this particular render being the final iteration of this redesign. I am strongly considering hiring someone to refine it and create something with a little more personality, and something that's a better match for the style of Qu and Myu's refresh.

However don’t get me wrong I love the current logo. I’ve always been quite fond of it, but I think this is a long overdue overhaul of the color scheme to bring about a new age of Qumu remixes and originals

2025-04-19 05:24:40 +0000 UTCThat's fair, especially considering it's very close to the alternate logo I've kept around for the avatars and for the 2nd channel ^^; I admit it's a big change, I just kinda realised I tended to gravitate towards different palettes when working on the Qu/Myu redesign, and I personally really like the new colours. I think the crystal/metallic/holo effect is a great idea, and I've been thinking about incorporating it in some way, shape or form already, but I think I'll have to get someone else to refine the logo for me in that case, because I just do not have the necessary skills to pull that off alone. I absolutely understand, and I really appreciate the feedback, thanks!

2025-04-18 18:32:26 +0000 UTCIt almost feels like it'd be a logo for a second channel. It's definitely not bad by any means, but the colors just seem to stand out a little less. I think it'd be neat if you added the crystal-like effects we see on Qu and Myus outfits to the purple section, and maybe made the D-Pad glow? This is just meant to be constructive feedback, by all means do what you feel is best! I'll miss the old colors though personally.
