Hereβs a little sneak peek of my last sketchbook spread. I canβt wait to finish and show you this whole sketchbook. Its definitely one of my favorites!
π CHARACTER DESIGN:
Next week Iβm starting Concept Art Class again - after the vacay break. Character Design is something that I fell in love recently. I still have A LOT to learn. Probably mainly storytelling ... Thatβs why Iβm trying to start simple and sketch some characters in my sketchbook. Maybe itβs not very amazing, fantasy character design but you know - baby steps! π It was a huge pleasure and I think it would be great to draw more characters this way. Maybe Iβll design something for the 250k?
Her name is Chris and sheβs 22. Sheβs an introvert (like me) and sheβs overthinking all the time (totally me). She has a beautiful voice and would love to have more courage to chase her dreams and become a singer. Right now sheβs working at the pet store (she loves animals, especially fish) and tries to figure out what to do with her life.
π¨ MATERIALS:
I used Prismacolor colored pencils + Promarkers as a background. Itβs Talens Art Creation sketchbook.
π NEW WELCOME PICTURE:
I used the picture on the right to create a welcome picture for new Patrons π βΊοΈ
π· REFERENCE PHOTOS:
As always I used reference photos that are attached to this post. I like that my drawings are now more often much more different than the references π Is that because Iβm developing a style? I hope soπ€
