STEP BY STEP - Colorful architectural study 🏡☀️

Hi Everyone!

I hope you’re having a great week so far! ☀️

This time I wanted to share with you something special 🦄 I scanned each step during the process of drawing an architectural study, and explained them in this step-by-step guide ✏️

I’m definitely not an expert in drawing architectural studies but I enjoy them so much and you left so many nice comments under my last post, that I decided to share with you my process. It will surely change with time and practice, but I thought it might be very insightful from the very beginning of my journey, when I test various possibilities.

I‘d love to see your studies too! You can always share them on Discord or tag me on social media 💌 Let’s learn together 🥳

Hugs 🧡

Gaby

PS. Yesterday I purchased the Domestika course by Albert Kiefer on the same topic. The process is a bit different (without the initial sketch or placing the values) but I think it’s also helpful to see how someone very experienced does it 👨‍🎨 Remember to learn from many sources and pick your own, favorite steps in the process 😉

wow thanks so much for posting this! the simple idea to add light layer of a warm colour for light and a cool colour for dark is such a great starting point for the colour and something I hadn't thought of before! I actually like the look of the style to stop there too. so helpful!
