SNEAK PEEK – Gouache Poppy Field Study 🌺🖌

Yesterday, I woke up before 6 a.m. (which is usually the middle of the night for me), feeling unusually refreshed, and decided to go for a run. The surroundings in my area are absolutely stunning, with a river, a lake, and meadows, all of which looked beautiful in the early morning sunlight. It was such an inspiring journey, and I took numerous photos along the way. 🥰
One of the pictures I captured was a field with poppies, which I've decided to use as a reference for a gouache study. Currently, I'm in the final stages of completing one of my sketchbooks, and I thought it would be a great idea to paint something that requires less precision and is just an enjoyable exercise.
