The Siege Beneath the Hive

The lights flicker above cold adamantium beams. Beneath them, a lone Leman Russ tank sits idle in the shadows of an ancient Astra Militarum armory, its cannon pointed toward a door that may never open again. Crates of munitions lay untouched. Vox units crackle with static, the last voices already silenced. The screams are distant now—but growing closer.

This is no ordinary stronghold. It was once the backbone of resistance against the Genestealer Cult that rose from the hive’s depths like a cancer. Now, it's one of the last to remain standing.

In our upcoming video game project, this is one of the pivotal scenes where our protagonist, Heidi, reaches her breaking point. Surrounded, outnumbered, and on the verge of collapse, she faces the brutal truth: the Astra Militarum is losing. The cult is winning. And hope is fading.

Until he arrives.

A Primarch—lost to time, called by fate—descends into the warzone, turning the tide in a moment of divine fury. What follows is a desperate, brutal stand where faith, fire, and steel collide.

Developer Update

We also want to take a moment to apologize for the delay on the Inquisitor Trainer project. Last month was fully consumed by intense development on the Hive City Heat video game project—the scene you see above is part of that ongoing work. The scope of that siege, both in terms of narrative and assets, demanded more time than expected.

However, we haven’t forgotten where we started.

The next update for Inquisitor Trainer is still planned for this month. While it won’t be a massive overhaul, it will include content expansions, bug fixes, and a few small surprises we hope you'll enjoy. Development is continuing side-by-side with Hive City Heat, and we’re doing our best to keep both projects moving forward with the quality you’ve come to expect.
