Tales from Behind the Fake Counter: Ep 21

Comments

Anyone else have issues saying ‘this video does not exist’?

I ordered my first Hot Toy literally while watching this episode. I'm now up to 15.

Chris Hanson

No. It was a “podbuster” which was A thing that traditional cable networks came up with to get people to stop fast forwarding through the commercials when they DVR a show. You see your beloved cast members on screen and hit play and 30 seconds later you’re watching commercials again. Nashel Made those podbusters fun and enjoyable content

Another great episode!

Does the full pod with Greg and the others exist anywhere? Was it released on Smod? Full convo would be fantastic, even if its just audio (obv hard if amc won't give it up)

Bryan's story and the absolute horror on the other guy's faces, is worth my $$$

Former Comic Book Men producer Jerry Carita’s cousin James Tynion was writing Batman books for DC and connected CBM to Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo. All 3 were super nice. That season, Nashel and I, and a dee other crew members were put up in an old lady’s house. My room was where all the grandkid photos were. I mean the bedroom walls were lined, there was even a pillow with grandkids on it. The decor was not for me so I put the small frames and pillow in a drawer and hung free promo posters from the Stash over the framed grandkid pics. I had those 3 guys sign one of the promo posters for New 52 storyline Death of the Family and I still have it in my comic collection

Chips had pretty iconic bikes

Street Hawk! Awful show but as a kid it was better than the Batcycle because you got to see stunts, gadgets, and I believe they used dual sports. Kudos for mentioning Barry, excellent show! Thanks to Chuck also for slick production of this entire series.

No lie, those DC staff drinking glasses were one of my favorite items in the entire run of the show.
