Update on the Mega Project

Well, this is something I've been feeling for a few weeks now, and something that I'm coming to accept. I have to admit I've bitten off way more than I can chew. Like, way more. Like I put an entire cow in my mouth when I can only handle a cheeseburger. The project has been draining me of energy and making me dread Blender, and the loops, they just aren't looking good, and its because I am rushing them now to meet a really close deadline. COVID fucked up my schedule big time as I was supposed to do outstanding commissions last week, and this week was supposed to be the animation week. So, decisions have to be made. And so I am revising the project and scaling it back significantly.

This is probably disappointing to many of you, and I understand completely. I let you down by promising too much, and its very much my fault for doing so. But you will still get an animation. And personally, I think having a few good loops would be better than having a lot of rushed loops.

So, I'm now changing it up. The "Big Four" will be featured in the animation, each with 15 second loops. And to start, it'll have an intro and possibly outro to it. I say possibly outro because I don't want to overpromise.

Intro:

The intro is going to start with Haus my OC blowing out candles on my cake, or if I can't animate that well, at least start with the audio and fade in from black to show me with my cake. Camera moves in and voice asks "So, what did you wish for?" I respond "I can't tell you, or else it won't come true." Camera moves back out, Pharah, Mercy, Tracer, and Widowmaker are standing behind the couch like the Piper Perri meme. Voice says "good decision." Cut to fucking scenes.

Outro:

This is less set in stone, but it will probably cut to Haus + the four in bed sleeping, Haus winks at camera, and cuts to black.

So I think it'll have a more goofy tone, not sure if I will use my voice or not (albeit I do stream and talk so its not like no one has heard my voice) but I think this will be more fun as an animator and also to you as the audience.
