2023 Schedule Changes
Added 2022-12-30 16:46:11 +0000 UTCIt's a new year and I'm making a notable change to the release schedule.
Comic Pages will come out on Every Monday and Wednesday.
Decider Posts will come out Every Friday
A lot of reasons for the change of schedule:
- Patreon is much nicer to how it charges new members.
- I'm faster at making each page.
- This makes my schedule easier. I don't need to figure out when I'm going to be able to finish pages.
- No one seems to be around to read comics on the weekends.
- I've definitely heard from people there is a lot of month that is just quiet.
- I want to give more to the Deciders.
I originally intentionally made the old schedule very front loaded. Patreon used to charge on the first of the month. So I wanted to do everything I could to encourage new members to join us at the beginning of the month. That's why we have all the pages at the top of the month. That's why TGComics updates on the 1st of every month.
But I think changing things will give everyone a more enjoyable experience, and will result in sneaking an extra page in every month and putting all of you wonderful Patrons further and further ahead of the story than those reading on TGC.
This may result in a bit of a change in goals going forward, but I'm working on those.
