Steph's Career Path
Added 2024-11-06 14:43:49 +0000 UTCStephanie has a few different opportunities ahead of her. Which road should she attempt?
I will say attempt, as the potential of failure is present in every journey.
Be a Social Media Influencer
This kind of blends in all the options. She is pretty much on the road, but she hasn't focused on it. This would allow her to dip her toes into a bunch of different areas because it would be good for Content. This option doesn't eliminate any of the other options. She can do this AND anything else. It would be more of what she social media is about. With this she could also do a week as K-Pop, or an Actress and then continue as normal doing this and nursing the next week
Pursue a Film Career.
This was her original goal and interest with starting their streaming channel. What she went to school for. She's still interested, but doesn't have any of the knowledge or skill currently.
Pursue a Nursing/Medical Career.
The result of a trade gave her a education in Nursing. Since then she's gotten her RN Certification, and got a job as a Set Medic, in an attempt to straddle the two worlds.
Pursue a K-Pop Career.
She's been listing to more K-Pop since her language trade. But overall we haven't see a massive interest from her on this topic. But she also never really considered it as an option, and there seems to be an opportunity. Not sure how she will find away to balance this and be back in America after the trip.
Pursue becoming a Host/Actress/Model.
It is a production studio. They have other needs besides singers and dancers. Stephanie is pretty and experienced with being on camera. Maybe a career as a host, actress or model is more inline with her goals and experience.
Comments
Exactly. She can still have the drive. And she's been taking steps to marry the two. I think/hope the host/actress isn't too much of a diversion from her path.

2024-11-20 01:10:21 +0000 UTCOops, I missed this poll. I would have voted for pursuing a film career. Just because of all the changes, doesn't mean Stephanie/Wyatt should give up on their original dreams. As good as a nursing/medical career would be, that would mean they would keep the trade and not give back those skills back to the person they actually belong to, which to me feels wrong. I'm not fond of social media "influencers" and "influencer" culture in general. It's a product of unregulated capitalism. They build a fanbase, just to then try to sell them unregulated garbage, like poorly made make-up and diet pills/supplements that aren't FDA approved. I feel like K-Pop and host/actress/model kind of leans into stereotyping Korean people. Just because she's currently a Korean woman doesn't mean she has to be a racial cliche. So yeah, I think Stephanie/Wyatt shouldn't give up on their dreams, just because of all of the changes. I would imagine that eventually, they would have to trade back the career skills and they could have, once again, the filmmaker skills needed to be a filmmaker.
