I was able to find a middle ground that will let me not need to change anything significant. Everything will stay more or less as-is for the forseeable future. I seem to have a road map on how to navigate into the future. But incase this doesn't work out as planned, I thank you for your imput incase I have to cross this road again. (I won't get into details here, but hit me up on discord if you want.)

UPDATE #1 - Patreon 18+ Rules
I have more time this morning to look up what is and what is not allowed with an 18+ account. I'm only including things that could possibly be in a story, and not just copy/pasting the rules.
Allowed
Nudity (I guess topless counts as nudity)
"Nudity in medical, educational, or healthcare contexts (e.g. childbirth, breastfeeding, gender affirming surgery, mastectomy surgery, medical exams involving genitals); these examples are permitted not just in the Adult/18+ category, but the All Audiences category, as well."
(I don't think we really fit in this category for All Audiences)

Free Pages would be removed or censored.
No On Screen Sexual Activity - It's confusing, but it is how I'm reading it.
Grey Area - Not Mentioned, but would be off limits
If it's 18+ there will be no minors in stories. (High School stories, mom/babysitting stories)

Sometimes it's nice to see a full family. I wanted Stephanie's sisters to have kids.
There is a bunch of other things that would never be in a story or are not relevant. I wanted to give you all the full picture.

As rules on Patreon have changed since I've started here, I kind of new I was flying under the radar a bit. There is adult content on the patreon, but nothing that really had gone that far. Some topless panels, and well...about it.
I'm no longer flying under the radar. A post got flagged, and it's going to force me into one of two directions. Censor the pages, or move the page to being 18+.
I'll talk more in detail below on why these are on the only options and my thoughts on it.
It used to be that I could mark a single page as 18+, and those days are gone. It's now all or nothing.
A page with Lexi topless was flagged, and now I either have to change the page, or make the entire Patreon 18+.
I held out for a while. Partly because I know I don't go into much sexual content, and that I hate any idea that transgender or TG or queer materials are often immediately deemed 18+.
We've been drifting a way from that idea a bit lately. But with the sudden shift in US politics, I feel like that hammer is going to be coming in back in my direction pretty hard.
So with that in mind, for CENSORSHIP this means, I would have to go back and and change a couple pages in Open Trade to get past the immediate issue. And then to protect things, I'd have to change a bunch more pages in Final Exam, Con Artist, and entirely remove the colaboration with TGT.
Future pages would have to be tamer, and it would alter a bit of the ending for Final Exam. And change up things planned for future stories. But everything would be more accessable for all of you.
I'm a little worried about getting shoved into an 18+ page in the future, just for having queer content.
If I LABEL THE PAGE 18+ it would make things less accessable. I think it would be fine for most of you, but I'm not sure what the process is to get access to the 18+ pages. I think we could go futher and push things on certain stories more than I have. I admit, I don't always like to go that direction, but the option would be there.
I don't know what ramifications there would be in the future of being in the 18+ space.
I'm also been kicking around the idea of making a mirror on SubscribeStar. As a bit of a saftey. I'm not going to put it in the poll, but there is a possibility that a clean version of the pages goes here, and a more naughty version goes there. But I don't think that is a good solution.
Anyways, that is the current situation. Unfortunately, I need to decide during the next couple days. I'd like to know your thoughts.

Was largely my assumption. I know the community itself can have some people who keep their real names seperate from accounts. But not sure how well you can do that with Patreon.

2024-11-12 14:52:55 +0000 UTCI never feel like I try to go in a porn direction. I tend to think I lean in a PG-13 or R (15-18 in the british system) range of material. Some sexy stuff is fun and I don't think I've come close to anything that hasn't been in a PG movie. A PG movie in the 80's, but still. Sexy scenes are there for character development. Or at least the goal. That tends to be why I need a discussion and need to think about this choice, as opposed to simply switching over. I don't see it as adult content, and want to protect readers and the story.

2024-11-12 14:45:27 +0000 UTCLet's be honest. Crossing that line doesn't make you an artist. It doesn't expand your narrative. It only serves to gain watchers with a bent for porn, soft or otherwise. I'm in favor of great story telling. If you need an infusion of porn to maintain the story, was there really a story there?
