Now that the video is nearing completion, I thought it might be interesting to see how long the video editing takes by releasing a quick update every time I complete a chapter. This video has 13 chapters in total.
Many assume that editing the video takes the longest but it's a relatively fast and linear process. The research and scripting phase is the real time sink because it's so unpredictable. You're constantly searching, adding, removing, refining, rewording, rethinking, reorganizing, etc. with no discernible end in sight. Video editing, on the other hand, has a very clear beginning and end. It's just one sequence after the next until it's done.
Anyway, the remaining chapters vary in length and complexity so the interval between updates will also vary a bit.

2023-04-28 07:18:23 +0000 UTCIt definitely can be. I had to make a lot of 3D models for this one which took quite a bit of time but that's already done. The animations can be a bit tedious but it's honestly not that bad. I've always enjoyed this part of the process anyway.
