Class 1: Lance Training – Year One
Added 2025-07-04 06:56:28 +0000 UTCThis is the first class for a reason. Not because it teaches you how to shoot, but because it teaches you not to stop once you start.
The lance is your weapon. Not sacred. Not special. Just a means to end something quickly.
Civilian protest? Shoot.
A merchant throws a rock? Shoot.
A kid screams and charges with a blade? Shoot.
You don’t flinch. You don’t hesitate. You don’t ask questions.
The Legion doesn’t care why it happened. It only cares that you ended it.
Core Objectives
Fire under full stat suppression: no System aid, no stabilization
Maintain control while injured, moving, or obstructed
Strip, reload, and re-engage without visual confirmation
Execute kill priority based on silhouette, movement, and uniform alone
React without waiting for confirmation, intent is the only warning you get
Training Format
Live fire only
No simulation rounds. No safety gear.
Drills include:
Crowd suppression under obscured visibility
Corridor breach with potential friendlies in frame
Leadership decapitation under emotional pressure
Cryer Test: small targets rushing fast, screaming, begging, pull the trigger or die
If you miss, you’re shamed. If you hesitate, your squad suffers.
If you disobey, you're replaced.
Failure Conditions
Hesitation = failure
Non-lethal fire = failure
Friendly fire = squad punishment
Drop your lance?
You get shot in the arm. You get told to pick it up. You finish the run bleeding.
Cadet Notes
“It cries? Shoot.”
“No badge, no pause.”
“Trigger first. That’s the rule.”
Instructor Motto
“Your lance doesn’t care who they were. Neither should you.”
