A presence that cannot be ignored. Nanites emit a localized field around the user, saturating space with artificial mass. The effect is physical, not perceptual. Anything that enters the field, flesh, metal, thought, feels the weight. The air thickens. Limbs slow. Focus breaks. There is no fear, no illusion. Only pressure. Everything kneels.
The field enforces resistance on everything inside it. Movement requires more force. Reaction time stretches. Light projectiles, like flechettes, lose speed or tumble, overwhelmed by a pressure they cannot pierce. Bodies strain. Weapons hesitate. Inside the field, the user is the center of mass.
Passive – Sovereign Space:
The field leaks presence. People notice. Paths clear. The body reacts before the mind can question why. It’s not awe. It’s compliance. A visceral response to proximity. The closer you are, the more you lose the ability to act freely.
Stage 2 Upgrade
Execution Effect – Kneel:
A sudden spike of mass erupts within a narrow radius. Those caught mid-motion may stumble or collapse. Projectiles stall. Breath catches. The spike can be used to interrupt charges, deflect shots, or force an opening without a strike.
Known Limitations:
Range is short; the field collapses rapidly outside of a tight radius.
Those with suppressed response systems or extreme conditioning can resist, but never ignore it.
The field does not block attacks, it slows them. Forceful or high-mass weapons can still strike.
Constant activation builds heat and stress in the body. Overuse can dull the user’s own reflexes.( Takes hours of build up to get to a point where this is harmful)
