And the only one left was an old man. Not just old. Ancient. He shuffles around in bunny slippers and a stained bathrobe, muttering to himself and forgetting what he was doing half the time. While trying to cure his baldness, he accidentally brews the Potion of Youth. He was not aiming for immortality. He just wanted hair.
Now, by some ridiculous twist of fate, he is the most powerful wizard around.
But only technically.
In reality, he is barely more competent than a washed-up parlor magician. His spells fizzle as often as they work. Most of his magic relies on half-remembered incantations, expired ingredients, and blind luck. He once tried to summon a weather charm and accidentally created an indoor fog machine that still won’t turn off.
The only reason he holds the title of "most powerful" is because there is literally no one else left.
Not that he notices. He is too busy admiring his luscious new curls in the mirror and arguing with his furniture.
Then people start coming for him. He is not sure why. Maybe they want the miracle hair tonic. Maybe it is the magic talking cauldron that will not shut up about being the mightiest weapon of all. Or maybe it is the industrial strength cleaning slime he "forgot" to return after the recall.
Or maybe it is all just a massive misunderstanding.
