Hey is only OpenXR supposed to work for now? OpenVR has a lot of missing textures and a wrong camera angle for me. But I kinda need it for the Steam Reprojection Feature. Because OpenXR works great but forces my 4090 to its knees framewise. If important I use a HP Reverb G2.

How do you re-open the game interface after you close it? The default F11 key does nothing, unfortunately. The only way I found to regain access to the VR game interface screen is to restart the game. Otherwise, I must move the open VR interface as far off VR screen space as possible. What is the difference between Standing Origin and View reset? Which is preferred?

I think what's happening here is not a world's scale problem but that you are losing the 3d effect on the environment when you rotate quickly. I experience this too. I believe this is because AER (alternate eye rendering) can not keep up with the refresh rate of these fast rotations. You lose stereo view due to the speed at which the images are being presented to the second eye being slower than speed of the camera view updating in the first eye. By the time the second eye receives it's image, the first eye already has a new one, and so there is nothing to give a 3d effect. Doesn't happen with slow camera movements because there is still similar content for each eye. Its an unfortunate side effect of AER and ruins the immersion and playability for me. I'm hoping Mutar can one day work out how to do something similar to what Luke Ross did with his AER2.

When I rotate the camera quickly, the world scale appears to shrink. Is there a way to fix this, or to adjust the overall world scale? For reference, I'm using OpenXR

It should work the same as main game, Im also using Ubisoft Connect. Did you try main game?

New Odyssey mod update makes no difference to my crystal light it still freezes on the assassin creed opening title and Valhalla doesn't even make it that far it crashes on the initial warning read before playing display.

Discovery tour isn´t workinf as Odyssey. the 3d is like "fake". the game is working perfect. I don´t know if discovery tour needs something else I have the game (DT) in ubisoft connect

The game has a First Person mode that is activated by pressing RB, but it is only available in tour.

Yeah, it would be a dream. I really hoped to see that, probably I’ve been spoiled by Luke Ross’s mods. But in my understanding, it’s a priori that VR games or mods should have a first-person view, or at least an option to switch to it. I know there are people who hate first-person games and prefer third-person ones, but having an option to switch between the two is the only proper solution. The Elder Scrolls and Fallout series are proof of that, I’ve never played them from a third-person perspective

I know number of users use primax, you need to be more specific what is the problem. You mentioned earlier that ui is far, you can select anything on your monitor, at least you can select UI following view and it will not be as far and then you can put your hmd on and finish correct settings

Odyssey is great - just needs some fine tuning on the cut scenese? these are super large in front of my eyes and hard to follow as all seems very zoomed in for some reason

Try disabling hyper threading, even without mod installed I had troubles with this game, load time was 5 minutes

Any recommendations about performance? It's around 40-50 FPS in the tour, depending on where you look. It doesn't depend on game settings. win11 VD 5080, 3000 x 3200 in the mod overlay. Even if I significantly change the resolution, the FPS is almost the same. 14600k when I enable all cores for the game exe it gives about 5-10fps.

UI slider will apply changes on any ingame setting change or restart. Most easiest way to engage, is change resultion scale in overlay

Guys i have a little problem here. The image seems a little bit zoomed in, i cannot see the cornens of the sceen in my headset.I tryed the ui-size slider but is not changing nothing . The whole image is zooming in at the welcome screen when i start the game.Had anyone enocuntered this problem or there is a setting options i missed ? I just found something else,head aim with bow is not working as well

Thanks for the work you are doing here really enjoying Valhalla. Sadly Odyssey is crashing when i select New Game or try to load a previous save (works fine in flatscreen). Then i noticed above it says Store Steam, should i buy on Steam or wait for you to update it to work with the Ubisoft Store version? On a side note i hope you get round to Origins aswell as that is one of my favourite AC's keep up the great work.
