Discord Extras {May 2024}

April was a very busy month for me with none art related things taking up quite a bit of my time D: the worse of which was my changing my sleep schedule so I can do work in the garden and make it to the garden centers to buy plants before they closed x_x, that really messed me up for a week or two, but now things are finally starting to get to normal and more work has been getting done ^_^

Despite everything, I did once again manage to get some major projects worked on and some new characters created!

So lets get to em! ^o^

Here we have an artistic render featuring April's new Character and my largest project of the month, Cheetah Gal! With some help from the community we ended up naming her Kathrine Lablanc. :P

Bit of Context and Back Story for the Image.

I have been REALLY wanting to revisit my Morphological Institute setting as of late and decided to give a bit of a look into Kat's story or more so a potential aftermath to her story. She wanted to participate in the Para/Morph games as her true Cheetah self and underwent Treatment at the MI to reach her ideal form. Here we see her competing in that very tournament.

Given the perceived advantages of Morphs in the setting they are only permitted to compete in special sports leagues, alongside other people with mechanical augmentations or prosthetics, or animal advantages inherited from undergoing Species Realignment Treatment.

This was gone into a lot more detail over at "The Wilderness" this was just a TLDR for all who missed it. Eventually I want to write it all out and post it in the setting info over there, perhaps in the future! Was a lot of fun to expand on that universe after a long while of not working on it. ^o^

Cheetah Gal Kat, in a more primal attire to better show off her form, I created this pretty much right after her completion or more so her near completion stage of development I still have a little work to do on her.

I am not typically super into Anthro Cats, but I have def fallen in love with this character, Her textures came out AMAZING and is she ever beautiful! ^o^

Decided to do a transfer and conversion of a few of my Feral Morphs from Genesis 8 Male to Genesis 8 Female to use on Cheetah Gal and other future feral females I might decide to create. I never got around to making her some feral hand paws though. That will likely be a side project for this month :P

It was very interesting during my studies to actually see and realize just how thin Cheetahs are you typically just see photos of them from the side! :o And I wanted to translate that characteristic into my design as well. She is built for SPEED!

Another Morphological Institute Related piece and some else I haven't done in awhile a Patent Sheet! Not much more I can say about it the Image speaks for itself :P

A quick Commission done for JustAnotherFurryFellow, featuring her OC Alyx again. Always love doing pieces with this gal! I decided to make an alternate version with a different arm position that looked a little less Dramatic, still not really sure which I like more though. lol

First test of results from yet another attempt at making a custom hair morph that looks like my actual hair, I really do love the end results here but still not entirely perfect. Was good enough to use a my new Profile Pic on Discord though. Baby steps.^_^

Did some updates to my White Wolf character giving him a unique face/body as well as updating all his fur maps to OmniHair shaders. Results were amazing! ^o^

The final image I have for ya all is the first test render of my current Character project, Cyber Cat! Lots of Cybernetic parts are being made for her so Expect to see much more of her this month. ^_^
