I was really crazy for taking up this large of a project so soon before my scheduled update day! lol
Turned out that a lot of my Morphological Institute Environments where out date and some even missing entirely, like the Good Doctors Office. June is gonna be a HUGE MI Month and I have already created a plethora of content in the past week to share in June's Patreon update. I plan on Doing even more MI stuff in the coming weeks too, so keep an eye out for it all over at The Wilderness Discord Community! ^o^
May was is hard month for making time for art too. Was away from home a lot and working out in the garden getting it ready for summer. That all being said, the completed comic is gonna be late, in the meantime I hope you enjoy what is completed. Keep in mind that the text might change (The person I had helping me with the text got sick during the project too), I haven't been able to go through and finalize the pages yet. ^_^
I'm so excited to finally be able to put together an actual comic set in my MI Universe!
I wanted this comic to have a lot of featured "Lore" that I haven't been able to touch on completely before. The Planned goal has always been to use the text as a means to tell the reader and viewer that which is not seen, like Background Story, Ambiance, and what's going on in the patients head while they go through their Transformation Journey.
Hopefully, this comic will serve as a template for future Comics set in the MI Universe, with each Patient experiencing their transformation differently, while exploring the special aspects unique to their "Donor Animal" in the process. Allowing the reader to explore parts of the MI grounds and everything else along side them during the process. ^_^
For this MI Comic we are following Katherine La Blanc (Kat) on her journey to become an Anthropomorphic Cheetah (Cheetah Morph), with the end goal of Competing as an Athlete in the "Para-Morph Games" a special Olympic style event for 'Morphs" and athletes with prosthetics which would otherwise give them an unfair advantage in normal "Human" Events as designated by the Government and other powerful entities of the MI Setting. Kat is a professional athlete and has competed and won many Human competitions before, so this was pretty much the next step in her personal career.
Kat has always loved Cheetahs, so as soon as she found out about the MI she couldn't wait to sign up to become one! Cheetahs played a huge role in making her want to become the fastest runner possible, and always envied their beauty and unparalleled speed, so to actually become one has been a lifelong dream of hers.
Morphological Institute Katherine's Journey

After a three hour drive from Seattle on the Chartered MI Bus, and waiting at the Military checkpoint on the way for ten minutes for approval I've Finally made it to the Morphological Institute! It's amazing how such a huge facility can be so far up here in the mountains.
Ten minutes until my appointment with the Head Physician?! I better hurry!
Page 2
I knew the Head Physician was a morph himself but I had no idea just how beautiful he was, Intimidating too of course, but behind that he was still a kind and intelligent man all be it very eccentric. You know, they even call him the “Good Doctor”?
After a short talk with him and signing some paperwork, he laid out photos of cheetahs for me to choose my “Donor Animal” from. It was so hard to choose! They were all so beautiful, but I eventually decided on one named Zaida. It's hard to believe that I would look like her when this was all over!

I woke up in the middle of the night last night. They said I would suffer mild flu like symptoms the night after my first Treatment, but I wasn't expecting to get so hot I would climb the dresser to get close to my rooms AC! How quickly and effortlessly I was able to do so was surprising too!

Today my body has been pretty sore as if I've just spent an entire day out on the track! My hands have changed quite a bit now and my fingers are hard to bend. They said it's normal and full movement should return to them in a day or two, well at least enough that I shouldn't have any major trouble doing “Human Things”. I chose to eat late in the cafeteria when no one was around, didn't want people to see me eating like an animal, believe me, I tried hard not too though!
They warned me, I should try and not act like an animal and to try and remain calm whenever I would become frustrated. Closing my eyes and listening to the nature sounds playing over the MI's Speakers seems to always tame me. When I first arrived here I thought the nature sounds where odd, but now that I'm becoming an animal it makes total sense.

I had to wait a few days for my body to stabilize before I could get my next treatment. But the extra wait was totally worth it! This was the part I was looking forward to most! With these new legs, I'll win that competition for sure! Working out has been more important than ever now, needing to build up my calf strength to walk on my toes, I can't wait to be able to walk and RUN unassisted, so the sooner I get the strength, the better!
Page 6
I've been at the Institute for seven days now, and the docs say with my body now completely stable and all treatments complete, I'm ready for discharge! And personally, I'm ready for those games!

Announcer: And the crowd goes wild! Top Time goes to Katherine La Blanc! New Record!!
Kat: This new body of mine has been more than I could ever wish for! I won the race and with a new record to boot! It's definitely been a journey, but I'd do it again a thousand times over! Next competition, here I come!
