I'd say what you're doing is doing it right personally, everyone wants to be heard and there aren't too many good listeners out there frankly. I suppose one can go overboard with it, but that particular way of being is mostly good I think

I hear that, absolutely, you always do what you think's right for you in a given situation. It just feels too late sometimes, or that a certain thing has to be done at a certain time, leaving you feeling a bit hopeless. But I'll be trying to appreciate this line of thinking more with time, for sure

This might be a reach: I picked up the idea that there are two ways to "censorship". Withdrawing information from people and flooding people with information. The second is happening on social media. The constant information stimulation makes it so that I can't settle on a thougt, I am constantly jumping from idea to idea. And that feels like my mind is being censored. Doesn't help that I have a "please everyone, excite no one" personality where i try to entertain every opinion i come across on social media apps. Anyway love the vlogs about thoughts!

Totally see your point about information pollution. Creativity comes easier from lack of information than from overflow of information. Making up for something that isn't there and creating something interesting in the process is easier than choosing from million different options.

The best thing I could say is when i went to school my teacher told us that no matter what direction you go in as long as you chose somthing even if its wrong its better than sitting on the fence. Even if you fail or get the wrong answer you eventually learn and come to an understanding of your thoughts. There is no one answer for many things its about what is true for yourself. As long as you pick an answer you will have moved forward.

Me and a good friend of mine (also involved in music) have had several long talks about this exact feeling and it's definitely hard to navigate. Everyone feels lost in life at points, but I think people working in creative feilds or going about "their own path" feel it the most. I never know if I'm working through my project "the right way", considering there's SO many avenues to go down and ways to succeed. The sheer information is overwhelming and sometimes raises more doubts then hopeful outcomes. I've challenged myself to find the most authentic way of going about my work/life, while still driving enough of an income to support myself, and it's taken years to reach a stoic state of contemptment. Still doubt myself from time to time of course, still try to record that "track breakdown" then turn the camera off, and still feel the urge to open my DAW even when the ideas aren't coming - but through time and conversations, those feelings are lessening, and I'm finding more ways to creatively output myself when I'm not feeling geared to making content or working on music. Appreciate you being open, it's a familiar feeling even if we experience it differently
