Dev Diary - Male story line - New computer - DIANA STORY LINE!

I will get straight to the point. This last month has been hard for me for stay on track. Many things have happen. I was debating about typing what has all happen in fear of pushing people away. 

First thing. I have a whole new computer. I dropped a lot of money on building a whole new computer. Its a beast of a machine. This was supposed to be a one day thing, but while building the computer my new NVMe's did not arrive. Well they did but they sent me the incorrect ones. (ssd m.2's) This set me back another 3 days. You may be asking why not just use your other computer and old hdds. Well that was the plan. Transferring all my assets to my new hdds took over 19 hours. Yes you read that correctly. 19 HOURS. That was another day. That's a full week that I've been set back. On top of that I was having issues with my renders. Some of them were taking very long to render. Which my typical time is around 1 hour. Some of them were taking 10+ hours. This was a major issue, I decided to reformat and that set me back again. Sure this was probably a bad idea. I wont lie during all of this I lost track of time.

Once the correct m.2's arrived and I finished getting my old files transferred everything is running good now. Better than ever. 

You might be wondering why we had no weekly builds this pass month. The reason for this was cause I am working on the male story line. Most of my time has been duplicating the story aspects from the female story line to the male story line. You might be thinking I could just copy and paste. I wish it was that simple. Many variables and other hooks are still in the code from the female story line. To put it simple. It took me close to a year to get the current female story line made. The fact I am pushing myself to finish it a 2nd time in less than a month is not small feat. 

At the moment of this dev diary I have the major parts of the male story line almost finished just need to clean up some of the variables and scenes. When I set out to start working on the male story line I didn't want to just copy the game and adjust small things for the male character. I wanted to give a whole new story line and events. Because of this I have decided to start Diana's story line first with the male side. 

I promise you this wait will be worth it. This was a big one, and it was something I was scared of doing simply cause of how long it would take. The good thing about this is once this is finished we will be back to weekly versions and monthly official releases. Thanks for supporting and hanging in there with us!
