Again, I apologize for the lack of content recently, but there has been a huge advancement with this project!!!
After tireless wok the assets and environments have been extracted!
Final Fantasy has such an incredible aesthetic and for @Bustermachinearts and I, it was very important that we honor and accurately capture the scope and scale of this story.
The Sister Ray Canon is an absolute Behemoth and it's incredible to Marvel in it's full glory.
This has been the best news this project has received in months!
I just wanted to share this important update and this project will be back full steam ahead shortly! This brings the release date significantly closer!

2025-03-04 01:08:05 +0000 UTCDude, I love your comments! I'll say this film will have the most extra content. There is such an abundance of alternate endings, behind the scenes, and cut content. This project will be the gift that keeps on giving. You should of seen where this thing started. This is far from out, but it's come a Long Frickin Way. Either way, this is the most important thing in my personal life now, and it has my full undivided attention. Networking and Making contacts, but this fight must be made in it's full glory. Great advice guys about the voice lines, we're all in agreement!

It would be funny to see the winner toss the limp body of the loser to the sea, yet watching Tifa's limp body being dragged away helplessly by Scarlet is a turn on.. oh my bad i just posted another Scarlet W propaganda ;3 each update in here amazes me.. each update shows how both of you are growing in skills, keep moving forward! i've read about the issue with the voice lines, other than linking a video with every voice line(and moans :3) in ff7 remake i suggest you to collab with a third guy, idk who but i guess someone that is good at extracting audio files and i guess use them? You'd both manage to focus more on the animation itself!

They haven't reached this part of the story yet in the Remake games so you can't take any soundbites from their sequence and incorporate them into your movie. The only option you have is to use already existing dialogue from other scenes and I see one problem with this. If you take Scarlet's and Tifa's dialogue from other scenes and use them in your movie, players who know the game will immediately recognise where those lines come from and it will take their minds out of your film and get them thinking about the official scenes where that dialogue actually comes from instead, and you don't want that. Also, existing dialogue is not going to cover all the ideas you will be coming up with for the fight so you're probably going to have to use a mixture of real and newly created audio clips anyway. In the trailer you used a voice for Scarlet that definitely doesn't come from the games but was perfect for her, so I'd stick with that approach. Don't use in game sound bites apart from the obvious ones like Tifa grunting, gasping and expressing pain etc but instead of trying to fit the action around spoken lines from the game so that they fit, use whatever technique you used for Scarlet for Tifa as well so that both voices are unique to the project and that way you free yourself up to create whatever scenes you want. That's my thoughts.

I haven't been more excited to make this project than I am today. In terms of the voices...It tricky, me and Buster still have conversations on the best way forward. However, I'm leaning towards using as much of the authentic audio that I can. Thankfully we have the Lines and dialogue from Tifa and Scarlet extracted from the Games. I'd like to pick your brain on it though. How important are the voices for you? What would you prefer? New Actors, which gives us range for dialogue, or authentic voices from the game?

Quick question :- Kosmic, do you actually hire voice artists to dub your videos or are the voices AI generated somehow please?
